Are there songs on this album about Ken's struggles with heroin? Yes. This is not one of them. It's literally about getting a song stuck in your head. And if memory serves, the exact song is "Nobody Does it Better" by Carly Simon which was the song from 'The Spy Who Loved Me' which is WHY THE MUSIC VIDEO LOOKS LIKE THE OPENING OF A JAMES BOND FILM.
I'll just say this: when I got Fantastic Planet for the first time, it made me forget that I also listened and loved to so many other bands and records for quite a long time. It simply took me to another dimension in many ways, they work together like very few other bands can. They're from another planet, a fantastic one.
I've only just discovered Failure in the last year. Been going on a deep dive. This is my favourite song on FP. It has such a doom feeling to it. That bass line is incredible
I know this is an older video, but I would love to see more videos like this in the future - the ideation and development stages, seeing the collective creative genius at work. I love the unique stories behind each album. Hope there’s many more to come! ❤

I’ve been out of the loop for failure. Last listened to their Golden demos because they took their newer stuff off Spotify but I adore magnified and fantastic planet. I’m feeling like I’ll love this album like I loved those
