Hello! The purpose of this channel is to share my 4c hair journey with the hopes of inspiring and helping other Type 4 ladies! Comment, like, and subscribe to join me on this journey.
4d-5 type hair . Micro mini curly sphere with max shrinkage . This type of hair is the most sensitive. This is needs to follow and train the curly pattern. Constantly braiding the hair during and after hair care routine years on will keep the hair flat/no defintion. TWIST your hair .
I almost bought this line but instead I bought the entire line by Pattern which I LOVE. I am SO GLAD I didn’t get these products. They are horribly overpriced. And I could tell by your body language you were not happy with the results.
Outstanding news... Christ's blood, his death on the cross, releases us from the guilt of sin, accepting us as righteous in God's sight Colossians1:20 The cross shows the seriousness of our sin, it also shows God's immeasurable love. There's hope and salvation to all who put their trust in Jesus. Please think about it.
"Where does the hate come from?" It starts from home. The females in my family were hateful when I was growing up. My aunts, grandmother, sisters, mother, and cousins were sometimes jealous of other women. They would say ugly things to people. I have one female cousin who is younger than me and thank God we have a good relationship. I went through terrible things done to my hair for years by females and it made me fearful of trusting a hairstylist over the years. But I'm grateful for the faithful few who did do my hair right. Adults need to watch what they teach the younger generation about what beauty is. Now that I am an adult, I realize the females in my family had problems and insecurities with themselves. But I am excited to try Rihanna's new hair care line. I'm hoping it will be money well spent.
You explained the smells perfect. You really went out of your way to give us so much detail on how the product made your hair feel and what it claimed to do.. this is the best hair care review I’ve ever seen
Thank you for breathing COMMON SENSE and FAIRNESS to this topic. It's a crying SHAME that a conversation of SERIOUS INCONVENIENT QUESTIONS and FACTS 💥💣💥about the LOC and BRAID RELIGION cannot be investigated because the loc and braid CULT has too many violent members. Meanwhile the EPIDEMIC of alopecia that they created continues to mfg endless tears and grief. (@Essence founder Susan Taylor) (@RazorChic Atl) (@CarlaTheHairGuru). Oh, excuse me, did I step on some toes here? 🤔 Sorry, NOT SORRY. 🧐
Not me I support real black owned hair care products- Karen body beautiful stay black! My hair only likes organic products anyway so beyonce or rhianna products have enough phaletes and toxic chemicals that would make my hair rough, cause breakage overtime, excessive dryness. I totally agree with it, if you are not tracee Ellis Ross who wears their hair naturally, I’m not buying your product. Black women have been bamboozled by the hair care industry for years . Companies hiring actors who don’t even put relaxers in their own hair yet black women were wearing toxic relaxers that caused fibroids and cancers in our bodies. So black women should be more conscious and not be so ignorant again at the expense of our health.
I think there’s a bit of unfair hate and ridiculousness. I’m a person who has always been identified by my long hair, but at points, like now, I’ve opted to cut and color it, people do that. More to the point, some black women with long aren’t so precious about their hair that they won’t cut it. There’s so much heat styling in entertainment without regard for health, that I get people protecting their hair with a wig. I experienced it once and I couldn’t imagine having any hair left if I had the same person doing my hair for a year. That considered, celebrities selling stuff endorse the thing and without being tried and tested, it’s their celebrity that co-signs the legitimacy of their product so it’s understandable that people would like them to be using their products.
"Are we being fair?"...We? Don't put me in this😂... However, you are right, that most negative comments regarding what us blk women do with our hair comes from most of our own ppl and it needs to stop.
We talk the talk but we tear down other black women. People need to buy products for the ingredients work with the type of hair you have. You gave a great point when you mentioned how we don’t have a problem making Revlon richer. I have tried several products from celebrities like Taranji P Henton, the Brat, etc. I have been disappointed with all but for Traci Ellis Ross. I am referring specifically to the Pattern hair pick. If you have a lot of hair or a TWA it does wonders!! The truth is celebrities have the money to have a GLAM SQUAD. They don’t do their own hair. I think if Solange had put out the product line it would have been more successful because she wears her natural hair. i
Sis I agree with you. We can be our worst enemy. I usually make my own DIY products and I have my own business Zundrasluxury selling organic natural products.
The obsession with hair in the black community is sick. I actually am bald like skin bald(alopecia) so its VERY annoying to see and hear blk women calling women clearly with a head full of hair "bald- headed"... if anyone is calling anyone with hair, bald...I wouldn't speak too soon or it could be you next!
When I saw Rhianna's hair it felt "real" She just had 2 babies back-to-back and had some postpartum shedding. This happens to alot of us so it felt normal and natural. I was very saddened by the personal comments. You can tell she really worked hard on the hair care line and as with all of her products, either people will buy them or opt out. But there is no reason to bring our own people down. I admire her drive, guts, creativity and willingness to try new things.
Rhianna breastfed 2 children. Breastfeeding is an entirely different animal. It can take over a year to recover from the toll of breastfeeding. Rhiannas hair looks damn good for someone that exclusively breastfed. One girl I knew lost all of her teeth! Some women never recover..just saying
Awesome video ! Thank you love. I’m interested in seeing how my hair fairs coz it’s short so maybe I’ll grow it out now lol. I want to get esp for my scalp issues tho, many ppl have had great and better experience with it for that ! My hair needs a lot of moisture too so it’s good to tweak things which I don’t think Bey and Ms Tina would want anyone to use something they don’t need. All brands are okay to use with what works. Thank you for being so detailed in your pros and cons too ! Not many neutral reviews get traction so glad to support you 🥰
I'm mad they're calling her bald headed. So hypocritical. What is wrong with short hair? She probably takes better care of her short hair than I take of mine.
Unfortunately, not every woman really support every woman. If you like a celebrity and their product is good then support them who cares how they look we all know as Black women change their hairstyles. If the product is made of quality ingredients then support the celebrity. I think when woman are jealous of another woman they make up excuses why they don't like them.
It’s not putting all these expectations on “different celebrities” It’s BW putting all these expectations on other BW. There fixed it. BW will justify remaining loyal customers to nonBP who insult them, cheat them, beat them, hate them, don’t reciprocate and so on and so forth yet raise the bar to the stratosphere to justify not patronizing women who look like them.
If celebrity hair products work for someone and they can afford to buy them I don't see anything wrong with it. I hear that some celebrities choose the best quality ingredients to make their hair care line and that is why some of their products are so expensive. If you can afford to buy their products and they work for you, I don't see a problem with it. If they don't work for you and are too expensive then don't buy it.
The levels of cognitive dissonance amongst black American women around hair is maddening. A woman with short hair is ‘bald’. The hair God gave you is a ‘curse’ and makes you look like a man. It’s just exhausting at this point. No one else does this and somehow it is excused away at every turn.
Question? How come nobody said anything when Rhianna 's hair was short yet bone straight vs Napptural/ her natural texture? I think her hair looks nice myself. Just think she Should have kept the Burgundy color.
A lot of the unnecessarily negative comments are coming from people who are broken. They will find ANYTHING to denigrate and disrespect people who they think have a great life and command money and attention because of their talents. Too many women are famous for having this problem. Why not just NOT buy the products and move on rather than getting online and disparaging people. Tearing someone else down will never change a pitiful, unsatisfied person and their life.
Hi everyone, natural Sister here I know what works with my hair like the only hair gel that EVER worked best on my hair was "LeKair Pink Hair Gel", this company also made deep conditioners as well. But its no longer being sold in stores, trust everytime I saw some I practically bought every tub. Now the hair gel I have to use is more sticky tacky but it works. But for keeping my hair moisturized I use an "Indian Hemp" product and once again I can no longer find the one I used to buy from the product line "Always". So in looking high and low on Amazon I found a product I had used before "Nature's Blessings". I was very happy I found it because it gives me what I need for my hair. Again, my hair is naturally curly, my Niece always tell me "You have White People's hair", when I tell her about a product to try😅😅😅. So for my Sistah's with that curly wavy hair and you don't like the heavy products you see try the "Nature's Blessings" to moisturize. I use the "Softee : Super Freeze Clear Ice Hair Gel". And I use "Shine Jam : Regular Hold" for your edges. It also protects your edges over the use of regular Edge Control, Edge Conttol is damaging to your edges. My hairdresser told me to stop using edge control because I had noticed thinning in that area. Once I stopped my edges are full like they are supposed to be... I hope this info helps someone...
