You can take lessons in any of several 2 seat helicopters and the skills transfer very well. The manufacturer recommends getting at least your safe for solo sign off
Would you recommend the XE 290? I’m stuck between the XET and XE 290. The 290 has the edge for me due to its flight time. Let me know your thoughts on both of you can. Thanks!
@@FlyNavy that is so awesome! I actually have dreams that I’m flying in s mall copter! When I was in the 82nd Airborne our highest jump height was 3000feet and our lowest was 800 feet! Riding in helicopters was my ultimate thrill, especially when we flew nap of the earth! That was a ride of all rides!
The factory recommends training in a regular helo up to at least safe for solo. I already had 2k helo hours, so I just took a couple of refresher flights.
this is the closest we have to flying cars. The privacy, the easyness of use etc makes it almost like driving a car, except the price obvioulsy. So cool nonetheless.
Jmo but u have brass balls sir. You're either flying thru the air or falling out of the air in those things. Their is no in between as their is in an airplane. Great content tho. You should make more new content
R.I.P my brother. I love you as well as my family, we knew you dearly and will always remember our family get togethers. We enjoyed seeing your helicopter and knew it bought you much joy. I am always saddened to see this video because I always thought I could prevent such a terrible accident that you endured. My heart sinks thinking about what was going through your head when it failed and always go back to this video and how happy you were. We love you! I hope you are zipping around in heaven as happy as can be.
I don't live far from you in Citrus County. I'm very interested in getting the XEL version of the mosquito with the 2-stroke motor and the floats (so it's FAA part 103 compliant). I would love to chat with you and pick your brain about this heli if you would be okay with that. Thanks for the video!
The climb rate is impressive. Youre living life brother. Belleview is about 40 miles north from me. The main drag you flew over should be 301 if im not mistaken.
Yep. That's what it is. Not sure how many companies would take experimental single as good turbine time, but I'm way past that. Just flying for the fun.
At the time of the videos, tracking and balance were good. I found the cyclic feedback issue. I had a vertical control fine rubbing each Rev on a bushing. Needed to oblong it a little more to accommodate the butterfly at the top.
