I had a lot of years in my childhood the yellow colour in my bed. And i didn't know that could be this bromine detox! That was pretty good information for me! I have hashimoto and i use to always consume only pink Himalayan salt because i was hearing that iodized sea salt is triggering more hashimoto symptoms. Also i saw that my necks goiter was getting bigger and i couldn't understand why as im taking constantly my t4 meds. Anyways, i start unrefined iodized sea salt ( its like big chunks) not like refine. I think is a good choice! My neck goiter after 3 days completely gone. (I was hearing a clicking noise in my thyroid when i was shallowing or moving it right /left). Also my urine was yesterday pretty dark. And it was strange for me. Thanks for this video mate. I was taking about 25 micrograms iodine per day (tiny amount) for the first time. The next couple of days I felt like I was horribly sick, difficulty breathing, stomach / chest pumping, total fatigue and anxiety such that it was hard to walk. I couldn't understand what was going on because I was taking a fraction of the daily recommended intake in a sea kelp supplement. I just looked it up and took a salt water drink and within 30 mins feeling a lot more stable, still feel a bit off but quite a lot better. Anybody know how this could happen with such little iodine?

Hi there, my 15 year old daughter who has a slow thyroid/metabolism and who has been gaining weight despite a normal, healthy, vegetarian diet started to further gain weight taking Lugol 2% 1.25 mg per day. It's been 2 weeks since taking it. Could you throw some light on the possible reasons, please as i thought iodine is supposed to rev up metabolism.( she takes about 3 tsp unrefined salt in her daily intake of food. Not in water separately)
1.25mg is far too low of a dose to make a difference in my opinion, Dr. Brownstein starts people at 50mg unless they have a bad autoimmune disorder. I would recommend increasing the dose. Also don’t forget selenium and vitamin c which are incredibly important for the entire process. Read “Iodine: Why You Need It and Why You Can’t Live Without It” by Dr. Brownstein. It’s a wonderful resource.
a lot of your time consuming excessiveness can be streamlined with a QIO and importers/exporters with filters, including the need to manually feed parts into toe assemblicators
Thanks for your info. In the Iodine workshop Group on FB they recommend at least 3 weeks off Iodine to Detox Bromide. I have started reacting to Iodine after many years. I do salt loading no Iodine. What is your opinion on this? I feel confused🙏
Any “reaction” to iodine in my opinion is showing that it’s working. Perhaps you’ve had an uptick of toxic exposure lately, something’s in the air or the house. Either way, you need iodine all the time to sustain life. Salt helps remove the toxins, iodine fills the gap, and vitamin c removes the toxins. All three are necessary

How long does that bottle of j. Crows Lugol's last for a dose of 25 mg a day? I'm trying to get a bigger bang for my buck on iodine and just yesterday I bought tri-iodine (pill form 12.5 mg per pill, 90 pills) and it's significantly more expensive. I don't know how much a drop is per bottle of liquid iodine so I couldn't calculate the difference.

I think you are absolutely right. I knew nothing about iodine until I was diagnosed with Grave's disease (hyperthyroidism for your viewers). One of the first tests was the radioactive iodine test and I felt 100% better after that test, but it didn't last long. Every endocrinologist I have been to said to avoid iodine and anything with iodine in it. But I kept thinking about how much better I felt the day after that uptake test and starting doing research. I had heard of Lugols, but couldn't get it in 2020, so I started taking Tri-Iodine. Iodine used to be the standard treatment for thyroid, both hyper and hypo. I do NOT understand why doctors refuse to treat with iodine. I suspect big pharma influenced medical schools. All I know is that iodine made a huge difference for me. I am now in remission and did not tell my endo how it came about. She thinks it was the meds she prescribed. I developed Thyroid Eye Disease despite taking Selenium. I picked it up at a local health store. What kind do you like?
Make sure you’re also getting plenty of sun and taking your vitamin C, all of the immune boosters should help with the autoimmune response to toxicity cause by iodine deficiency. We take lugol’s :)
