Except you measured the frets from the edge of the nut, and not the highest point. Maybe next time, just build a solid body guitar the same size as the inside of the box? Insert the solid body into the box. Done.
Great video! Talk about having to be very satisfied with both yourself and the job you did, this has to be it. With steel beams and brick walls, this has to be every guys dream shop.
I got BL marble Rolling Desk Chair made 1895 to 1901. Half oak finish..serial 2724 chair no.11. was in the mine office that Butch Cassidy Robbed in April of 1897. I know the place well. Loved there till the towns demise. Anybody know the worth of this antique?
Looks very nice and you're talented, but I'm not sure about recessing the anchor bolts so much in that top landing. 11:13 ... They look nice and flush, but now you have less material holding them in place. Just worried the wood will fail. You could always put in a couple more. Especially since the stress will be higher on it since the stairs are resting on it and torquing that side down.
Question: can you point me in the correct direction on how to create cutting guides as what you used in this video? Also, great job. This is what i will form most of my table around
I don't fully agree with the style of the finished product, but it's really cool to have seen the steps you took and I'll be using what I learned here. Thank you!
I really liked your video and your idea. Looking at your frame, I could not believe that the whole thing did not fall apart though you seemed to move slowly. Why didn't you paint the interior... it looked a bit raw.
i really like that simple base design. i will be doing mine the same way along with those casters you have. also have you considered having making a infeed table infeed table that attaches to ur work bench so you dont have problems with longer pieces rocking up and down with u rip them?
Inspired by your video, I built a large bench for my DWE 745. I found I needed an infeed table. But now I have to reach to turn the saw on and off. Do you know of any way to add a remote switch?
Great work! I have the same saw and will be building something very similar. Don't worry about the Safety Sallies demanding you use the push stick. Use common sense and eliminate distractions and I'm eurr you'll be fine!
Rubin, Well Done!!!! A couple of considerations: 1-Coat with an oil finish. I’m a fan of Tung Oil, food grade(it’s useful on many other things) 2-Make yourself an infeed stand to support long work when you’re ripping planks. It provides stability to your cut and eliminates that seesaw/up and down motion. 3-I’d put a round over or chamfer to the plywood top. That’ll eliminate split edges should you smack it or lift something heavy up on it. Other wise well done Mark
40 degree cuts would have been just as easy. As stated below, 7/9. 6'8" headroom. Since the stair is uncomfortably steep, you will be looking down at you feet when you crack your head on that header. Measuring while standing is not what your body will be doing when you are trotting down the stairs. If you framed the opening, Why didn't you frame it to get your headroom heights up to code? Why didn't you eliminate the lower platform? This staircase is a deathtrap. Although, you did some nice video and jig work.
One of the best elegant and functional designs I've seen .I am considering. building this for my Dewalt saw. Has anyone built this table with the legs of the saw attached so that you could move the saw to another work site if necessary,.
Muito bacana ficou excelente seu projeto BANCADA PARA SERRA foi uma ótima apresentação e muito boa à demonstração valeu obrigadao muito útil valeu obrigado VALEU 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Use the table saw guard and push stick or you will become a 9 finger carpenter. There is no excuse for not using the safety devices that come with a tool. I don’t watch RU-vid channels that do not comply with basic safety protocols.
As many have said before. For the love of your fingers please STOP pushing your wood through like that. Use a push stick, gripper block. Develop a mindset and safe practices around machinery that can have life altering consequences.
The instant that I saw his hands pushing timber past the moving blade I checked out. As if there aren't enough dangers in Woodworking without doing unnecessarily dangerous things !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
