Good review looking for similar boat. Will run electric trolling for explore sheltered water ways in silence and maybe 2hp as backup. Bit advice. Tie the motor clamps together with bit cord so they don't work loose and safety rope for motor attached to transom. Rope won't stop it coming off and being drowned but at least you will still have.
Cheers mate, yeh have used this little setup on a few trips now, has been a Pinky slaying machine in Shark Bay ha.. I worked out how to get it on the plane, it's just because it's so short, shoots the nose in the air, but with just me top speed 14.5knots 👌 will definitely make up a clip to attach it to the transom.. cheers 🍻
Cheers mate, I've been through there many times and never seen it anywhere near looking like it was going to join up let alone metre deep that's a lot of water ha..
Out of curiosity what components are needed for the brake upgrade? I’ve been over packard Automotive’s site and can’t find much detail. I’m not in Australia so I’ll need to piece it together. I see they have a bracket for the caliper ears but what’s the deal with the hubs? Is it just that they need turned down to fit the slip over rotor? There is basically no info about this anywhere I can find on the net, just a bunch of old men in the US comparing brake pads.
I couldn't even tell you to be honest, you might need to flick them an email mate, that part of it is well past my knowledge of it I'm afraid. All I can tell you is that it makes 1 hell of a difference.
Beanie, you’ve really knocked this one out of the park. I really need to get me some emu wings and do the sides like yours so my 12 volt setup is more sturdy. I still need to keep a rear seat at this stage, though. Have you thought about doing a bespoke mozzie net at the back so you can leave your tailgate open on solo trips without getting eaten alive?
Cheers mate, those emuwings are very handy 👌, I have thought about making some mozzie net inserts for the 2 back door's rather than the very back tailgate, there's usually some kind of breeze going on wherever we are and just having the door windows down a cpl of inches each under those door visers have been enough in the past, but also have a little 12v fan if it gets to hot that works a treat. Something that connects to the top tailgate though would definitely work for sures, I don't do to many solo trips if I start doing more might look more into it 🤙
@@blissniques Oh ok we must be playing each other, good luck, may the better team win on the day.. I must admit, the Bombers are my second team, spent many hours at Windy Hill. Umm drinkin !!
Cheers mate 🍻, I thought I was going to need to use the inverter for it but the 12v usb port on the switch face next to the TV and it worked sweet, so everything is 12v only with it 👌 miracast
Hey mate, yeh since I done this video I worked out how to get it on the plane, bloody thing is like a go cart on water 😅 top speed is around 14.6knots, had to get 1 of those hydrofoil plates to put on the motor, because the boat is so short the battle was getting the nose to come down, still can't get myself and the wife on the plane though,
Can you please let me know what are the bullbar indicator lights and where you bought them. I am inspired by your mods. You also seem like a genuinely nice personality
Just don't get that you are totally protected from the uv rays but your wife is wearing a micro bikini, seems to be the norm on RU-vid is it to try and get more views? Don't worry about the likes look after your best half :)
