Something sounding amazing and distinct was the biggest piece of the glorious atmospheric movie theaters of the past century, the theater organ as the huge favor of this since the booming 1920s.
This reminds me of when they showed old movies at the Paramount Theater in Oakland before the pandemic. This was the last song they played before the movie started.
I have been watching and re-watching this performance over the last 10 years. I am still in awe of the arrangement and the playing. I have the Paramount samples and love playing them but my efforts are well short of your excellent playing. Mike in Oz
Great Rendition! The first piece I ever heard on a theatre organ I think....an LP of Reg Dixon at the Tower! And the first piece I learned to play....on a church organ!!... The 341 really is a brilliant Sampleset and alot of fun! Thanks for another great upload 👍
@@imcg110 thanks anyway. i guess its going to be listening to it many times and writing down the dots the hard way. yakes me back to when my music professor made me transcribe bach preludes and fugues tin order to understand the dynamics of the music.
nice performance. great sound. I see the back rail additions. I noticed the lack of moving stop action. Yet i saw piston recognition. I use Artisan in my systems and have included midi of the stop rail but NOT magnet (movable stop) control. IOW: any piston action is BLIND. I haven't yet realized a fully functional console (in progress...a midi'ed analog allen). I did 'do' the Artisan sound engine even though I have loads of Haupwerk/Paramount digital VTPO resources. I likely will drive both the sound engine and the Paramount from the midi'ed Allen. But..remains to be 'heard'.
Thanks. You can't really drive 41 ranks easily from a small console, so I link my pistons to the HW screens to use the full scope of the specification . I have set up a Rodgers with artisan boards in the past. You have to be careful to use ALL console or ALL computer inputs for registration. If you mix them you inevitably get conflicting messages and turn things on or off when you least expect!
Beautiful 😍 what an amazing sound and you really bring the best out of these sample sets , I've heard you play a good few on RU-vid to help me decide which one to go for so I thankyou for the video uploads Jackie
