We’re only going 7-7.5knts but when we are on the hunt and need to cover ground we travel 8-9knts. The camera really makes it look faster than it actually is. Hahaha
This speed works for us and it might be different for everyone else. Some like it slow and some fast. Personal preference. For us, it gives us a peace of mind that it won’t let the fish dive. cutting the line and losing the lure.

out of the 3 rods off the stern it’s probably smarter to troll with 2 to prevent tangles, that middle rod usually it what causes the issues. disregard this comment if the 2 outer rods are on outriggers though 😂 couldn’t tell on the video
Haha, We usually run fine with this setup and have no problems. But I remember seeing the center line cross the right outrigger line, possibly catching the bird teaser and ruining it from there. We don’t usually run the bird and maybe next time when we do run it, we need to send it more back. 🤔
sometimes better to be lucky than good. In the end, these usually even out. Lose the ones you supposed to get, and get the ones you suppose to lose. Good going.
