How did you like the grated tofu? I've used grated tempeh for taco meat before and the texture is great, so I thought I'd recommend it! Also, is there a recipe that you like for regular focaccia (not sourdough) that you can recommend?
I'm a huge meal prep fan; I can eat the same thing multiple days in a row if it's good. My husband gets bored of things really quickly, unless it's something he's *obsessed* with, and even then he won't want it for longer than 3 or 4 days at a time; so I've learned how to food prep and also meal prep smaller amounts that we can swap between through the week. Sometimes I do a lazy week where the recipes are so easy I can cook a couple times during the week after work with no issue; and other times I go all out with an entire menu lol It's about balance and finding what works best for you (and any others you cook for in your household) 😄
gosh it seems crazy to me how much people get wrapped up in other’s choices. You look absolutely stunning in that dress and I love that you’ve made it rewearable 🥹❤️
I watch Rainbow Plant life and Sarah's vegan kitchen. I also watch, Pick up limes, Gaz Oakley, sweet simple vegan, fit green mind and divine chef, food impromptu Yeng man cooking. I print receipes from my favorite youtubers and follow the paper. I don't like screens shutting down on me either. I am a new subscriber. Your husand is so nice to cook dinner when you are not feeling good. Take care!
I certainly prefer food prep over meal prep. However, I don't fancy spending 2+ hours in a kitchen at any given time, so I tend to break down food prep into small chunks throughout the week. E.g. I made a nacho sauce last Saturday for a snack, then on Wednesday I only had time to press tofu, but not to cook it. I cooked it on Thursday. And on Sunday I cooked beans in instant pot. On a less busy week I'd be able to do it all in one go on Sunday.
I don’t see any reason why the dress couldn’t still be passed down to a theoretical daughter. Maybe not as a wedding dress, but as a sentimental piece, maybe for a dinner date.
I had a dark green wedding dress that I love wearing, even wore it on our honeymoon and now at least our anniversaries - although I don't wear it to other people's weddings. Even though it isn't white that felt like it might be rude 😅
heyy i think your video is amazing one thing i do struggle with is that i dont always really know what you re adding because it is not always given or typed so yeah i hope that is a good recention but surely its amazing to see how the food prep is working and stuff real good
In my opinion (coming to this as a sewist and knitter) this would fit better with some sort of bust adjustment 🤔. The reason I'm saying this, is because the top is shorter at your bust and longer in the back. Something that I don't see happening with your friend's top, because her body type is different. No idea how you'd actually achieve that with crocheting though 🫣.
The thing is like if you have a theoretical daughter or in daughter-in-law that could wear it and they want it they could still have it. It just wouldn't be a traditional wedding dress. You only wear a wedding dress once and yet you could use this dress how many times you wanted to use it.
I don't care about the dying (nice work), but I don't care for this as a wedding dress. No need to go into that further since everyone should wear what they want when they get married.
Because having a daughter is hypothetical. Who’s to say I want or can have children. Who’s to say that child will be female and not male. It’s completely hypothetical. There’s absolutely nothing certain about children.
@@SustainablyVegan and that's on period! Agree 100%, we need to stop making "future kids" such a set in stone thing that will stop present us from doing something.
Wow that's so true about salad dressing! I've been avoiding making a green salad for ages...i like my usual salad dressing but i didn't realise that i needed a change... I'll try yours which looks delicious (And absolutely yes about the chips)
This is awesome. Creating a way to actually enjoy your wedding dress past the initial day so that it doesn’t collect dust in a closet. That is a wonderful way to cherish it.
I am interested to understand the "mind work" between figuring out what you are planning to eat during the week or what things go together and why AND the actual making of them. To me the problem of meal prep is that, in my mind, it's supposed to be prep to specific recipes, otherwise how will I combine them to make different meals? So I am interested to see how you go from point A to point B.
Not sure if you've mentioned them in another video, but what type of food storage containers are you using? I have some and they leak, which makes meal prepping a bit frustrating.
