Excellent tutorial Doug. I've been using Relive for a couple years now and recommended this video to a friend who I just showed my Relive videos to. I like your simple and clear step by step explanation with images to show what you are talking about. Well done! I'm using the free version and it works fine for me to include pictures. I haven't tried to add video or music yet, maybe next time...
This is the exact video I was looking for thanks. I think setup 3 was the best combination. Looking into buying one of these to record for youtube. Great work.
Very great tutor. I had some complicated process for jump cutting AND reframing. Now I can do both in the Android app. The easiest, my opinion, os to first make all your ViewFinder markings, accept these AND THEN make the jump cutting. If you jump cut first ot is difficult to get smooth transisions between the clips. Thanks for your great videos.
Thank you for the comparison of both Apps, I use to use KineMaster my subscription needed to be renewed now I use CapCut mostly but using the green screen is limited at best I’m going to try power director thanks to your review.❤
Can you make a multi day activity into one video? Can you use your phone to do other activities, like time-lapse on native camera app, while running this app simultaneously?
Hi there, We got the relive app too but we use our Apple Watch, relive will start automatically with recording. And we have the paid version, it cost little but you get a lot more. We have walked and cycled a lot and always with relive.
@@amhjetten thanks. Is the Relive advertising logo still on the paid app. And how much video can you add? I heard only 60 seconds in max 10 second clips? Not a lot...
Experimenting with different combinations is the only way to decide. Thank you sharing your tests so that we can all benefit. I did not like the 15 decibel setting on the Rode. It picked up your fricatives too well so that there was a bit of whistling. I suppose you could edit that out but that would be another complication.
DJI Wireless Mic with Lavalier Mic plugged in is hands down the best setup for all the benefits without sacrificing the audio quality too much. In fact, its very very close to my ears to the Rode Wireless Go.
👍 for rode and also 👍 for Dji wireless with lavalier mice plugged in. They are both equally good. I would assume that build in mice would do in a pinch also. Cheers and be well.
The Pocket 2 brings out more details in the shadows as I can see when you walking pass the market area. Also were both of them shot at the same time of the day?
I'll try that. I've already dialled in a hefty exposure compensation to darken the image. I find it is very bright at the default settings. But I guess it needs even more. Oddly enough, the wide angle lens adapter seems to make a difference. I attached the wide angle lens at 7:52 in the video, and you can see that the sky suddenly becomes a nice blue, whereas it was all washed out and overexposed before. But I didn't change the exposure at all. That wide angle lens adapter is tricky, though. The magnet it uses to attach to the lens isn't very strong. People lose them constantly all the time. It actually fell off during this walk for me, too. I brushed it with my arm, and it popped off. I was extremely lucky, because I just happened to look down at the camera shortly afterwards, and I saw that it was missing. I turned around to retrace my steps to find it. I figured it was lost forever, because there was no way I'd find it in the market. But it happened to be about 100 meters behind me on the sidewalk, and I found it right away.
Thanks, it helped me to finally understand the Premieres thing! Your scheduling is too early here on Canada Westcoast so I will not be able to participate while you are live 😴
I'm so glad I put off my deep dive into a GoPro based rig. My most basic setup would've run me roughly NT$23,000. If I'd have had to deal with the struggles you expose in the Media Mod, the rage would have been palpable. It calls into question the integrity and intension of all those career vloggers who drooled over themselves and the Media Mod in so many of the reviews I watched during my research phase.
