Just playing some games in my free time. If anything mildly interesting happens, it's probably on here. Depending on what I'm playing, I will be on one of my two rigs: 4K - 2160p (1080Ti SLI) for beauty 1080p 144Hz (1070) for the FPS Hopefully you can have a laugh at me and my dysfunctional friends :)
This STILL is accurate and up to date. Fixed my issue, at first I thought it was an issue with sample rate and buffer size. Currently running an audient evo 4 interface, and mxl 2006 microphone. Great Tutorial simple and effective.
Kudos to you, my dude, I've been having audio issues with the voice meter for a few months now, and this video finally helped me fix it! It is clear and concise; thanks so much, man.
I literally cant believe that this was the problem, I use voicemeeter banana and ONLY discord had this crackling. Your solution worked perfectly, thank you for the short and clear video
This fix has been working perfectly for years now. But can someone please explain why this happens only to voicemeeter users? Is it voicemeeter's fault?
I watched this video about a year ago to fix this audio issue, this is the only straight forward guide to this issue. I recently had to find it again due to me messing with my audio. Thank you so much man, you've been such great help!
just make sure that the samples are the same for voicemeeter and your actual device (voicemeeter can usually go way higher than a standard mid-pricerange mic) 16Bit /48000 Hz should work fine ;)
While this kind of fixes a working, you will have other problem and nobody talk about it in all those guide's, you will have big sound freeze's when you launch something heavy. Because audiodg.exe cant use other core's with this settings and will overload with his core every time when your system will use it. So you can choice random cracking thing all time or huge sound cracking but some times and no real fix for it sadly.
I can't tank you enough for this trick, it fixed my issue immediately, sad that we need another program to automate this process or that Windows can't save these changes, but happy that finally I get to get rid of this issue.
