This is the first person view of my accident.
A bit of incorrect rear panic breaking due to inexperience on a blind bend lead to the rear slipping out on some gravel. Warning lots of swearing. I was on the phone to friends using my Sena during the crash hence me confirming I'm ok.
Since this crash (4 months ago) I've put over 2000 miles into the bike and have toured Scotland and Wales :) I've gained a lot of valuable experience and kick myself after looking back at this silly incident.

That barbed wire ... that could have ended very poorly. Thank god your head is still attached to your shoulders! Any idea what caused it?

I was going too fast on an unfamiliar road is ultimately the main reason this happened. The camera doesn't really capture the elevation or the corner but it's an uphill blind sharp bend. I was going too fast and in a bit of panic applied rear brake which is a big mistake. The rear tyre slipped out almost instantly (i think on gravel) which surprised me as I didn't know anything was on the road until I checked the road after the accident. If I was going slower I wouldn't have needed to brake and the rear wheel likely would not have slipped out.
