I currently keep a Greek tortoise, several Burmese stars, Amazon basin yellowfoots and several redfoot tortoises. Follow me for care info, tips and tricks, enclosure design and more.
Sure thing! It’s an Exo Terra tortoise cave. I ordered 2 from LLL reptile. They’re a bit fragile and one came broken and they were super cool about it and immediately shipped a new one. www.lllreptile.com/products/25923-exo-terra-tortoise-cave
Great video!! And I appreciate you sharing that website... That's a great resource. We have a sulcata tortoise who lives in our back yard (plus we just built him a house), and we live in the Tampa Bay area. I'm constantly watching the weather... and it's honestly exhausting 😅 His new house helps, but those darn mosquitoes and fire ants are the worst issue. Yet we can't use any type of chemical to treat the yard. So if you have any helpful tips on that, that would be an awesome video!!
I use mosquito bits in any standing water, but even as dry as it’s been they’ve been awful this year. I also treat fire ants with Amdro or Advion, but not in the tortoise enclosures.
Very rational, level headed explanation. I don't keep chelonians, but this discussion can become quite debatable in lizard circles, particularly the Lacertidae subcommunity.
