There has never been a phone that has been talked about so much with its positive and negative aspects. As a result, "the (Honor) tree that bears fruit is stoned". And for the first time, this tree is not Apple.
iPad OS needs to be revamped when connected to external monitor(s). Resizing apps when connected to an external monitor needs to be imporved. I can't believe the iPad Pro only supports 1 external monitor. Is it Pro or not? The mouse cursor needs to be revamped as well. iPad Pro needs actual computer apps. M1 is powerful enough. Even Apple's own computer apps are iPhone focused in the iPad. Completely frustrating.
As a camera guy and tech nerd, I’m not sure how I’ve never had your videos pop up until now. I guess since I’m going down the rabbit hole of replacing my M3 Max with an M4 iPad Pro. Great content. I look forward to looking through your work and seeing upcoming releases.
Not exactly, but true for most people 😊 I’m able to do 90% of my commercial work on iPad, but true - it’s not a 100% computer yet. Having a Mac or PC is needed.
For anyone who sees this or cares. I have tried EVERYTHING to track my fitness data. Oura ring, Apple Watches, Whoop etc… I can say without a doubt in my mind that the Garmin Epix Pro is THE BEST activity tracker I have ever used. Pay upfront and you get all the features these pay to play products are asking for. I paid $800 for my Epix Pro 42mm (There are more budget friendly options from Garmin ranging between $200-600) Whoop starts at $250 before you pay subscription, additional bands and $50 pair of underwear. I highly suggest trying Garmin
My 13inch IPad Pro has just about replaced my MBP as my primary computer. My MB is currently sitting on my desk and has been for the past 2 weeks since I got the iPad. Writing emails, creating lesson plans, grading work, all of which I can do easily on the iPad coupled with the new Magic Keyboard, it’s a solid 10/10 for my needs. Now, I’m hoping iPadOS 18 brings with it something that will take advantage of all the power the m4 chip has to offer
Ipad OS is much more productive than android? You clearly haven't used a Samsung tab. I own both and I can tell you the ipad Pro comes nowhere near the level of productivity of the tab S9
@NarendraMnr Samsung Dex is way more flexible than stage manager, allowing you to open as many windows as you like, the file manager system is much better than on the ipad, the simple fact that you swipe across your screen to go back is a win on such a large screen, sideloading apk that are not in your region is also a win, you can share files using quickshare to virtually any device including ios devices. Interactive widgets, I do not have to open my emails to check what emails I got, I could scroll through the list directly on the widget. Your floating windows can be resized as small as you want to and even pinned. No charging issues due to overheating when gaming or when climate is hot. It comes with the S-Pen no need to buy it separately. I can play two videos side by side. You want more? The list goes on.
@HQuiD Bro, I have been using both devices for many years now. In fact, I don't even use my ipad Pro anymore because the tab s9 is way superior for productivity, including multitasking.
@@agprimeI agree, I’ve used both for years and even using Dex with a S23 Ultra or a S24 Plus, multitasking is much better than iPad OS. Although that’s mainly because that’s what is was designed for from its inception. Apple never intended for iPad OS to be a viable alternative/ replacement for MacOS nor would they because it would cannibalize an entire product category for them. Which I can understand but will not excuse, all they have to do is give us a more robust file management tool, true multitasking capabilities, better versions of their 1st party apps tailored for the strengths of the iPad without gimping them and an actual mouse support instead of the foolishness that we have now. Those things can be brought to us is an update, not to say it’ll be “simple” but it will show that they take the iPad and their customers needs/ wants seriously.
@HQuiD Also, on the tab S9, you have the "Open with" feature, which is awesome for pdf files and documents and also video playback, I can't handle the idea that to open a file in an app you need to import it which is stupid and it creates a duplicate file, not to mention if you are uploading or downloading a file and you close the screen it'll crash, same thing happens when you are exporting videos and photos you need to be on the app at all time, that is just stupid. On android, you don't get these inconveniences. The struggle is real with Ipad OS.
I love my iPad Pro 13. The screen is AMAZING. I already have a 12.9 and the upgrade wasn’t really necessary but I can notice a difference a bit in size and really enjoy watching my videos on it and completing my daily obligations plus school work which requires me to watch a lot of videos. It’s definitely gives me some good dopamine !
Ive ready that some people can see a grainy appearance on greys when the brightness is around 25% , is this true or is it just the usual Reddit complainers lol
@HQuiD so you recommend the 13 friend? You have thoroughly tested for grain in low brightness, grey colours and dark mode and it's not there? :) 😀 I really want to upgrade, I have the 2020 A12z Bionic 11 ich with LCD. This was going to be my first M chip ipad.
This device will boil down to what you use it for. For me drawing, productivity apps, and browsing the web have been great. There's a lot more of what we already had, but I'm ok with that.
Damn people are pressed that dude called it a computer. The iPad has its own uses for certain creators, for me I use it to edit when I’m out of the house. I was editing everything on my phone or my main pc at home. I got the 11 inch version and I am loving it. The OLED screen very nice for color grading. I haven’t ran into any storage issues since I keep most of my work on external hardrives or Dropbox. Overall it just suits my needs and I do not regret my purchase. This is also the first iPad I ever bought.
Ipad is not a computer. It is an incredibly sophisticated hardware with a TOY operating system that cant even do the basic things right. Its overpriced garbage with performance of a ferrari - but instead of tires it has trainig wheels. Its a joke
@@ahsokaincognito lol no. But you must have very simple life and computing needs I am happy for you, buddy! You found a “”computer”” even you can use! Goood joob, buddy!
@@brandonsargent7105 I am not looking at $350 ipads. I am looking at $2600 ipads. dont you think there should be - ANY - difference between the capabilities of those two?
@@tubeyou6794I agree with you. I owned several iPads in my life. I bought the M4 to replace my M1 but it’s having issues that the M1 didn’t have. Cursor issues, bluetooth battery levels not showing up, lagging on the screen as well as predictive text lagging, turning vpn on disabled my data connection, and safari acting more like a mobile web browser than a desktop one especially when you can’t do basic functions like right click on pictures or videos to get the save or download options.
Orbit, It’s just a thin IPAD with a newer chip It still runs IPad OS a limited system People act like this is a MacBook computer Don’t think so! There’s nothing you can do with this IPAD that you can’t do with the M2 IPad Maybe watch your RU-vid videos a little faster and read your Emails It’s still a expensive IPad
The m2 air is probably more than power capable for the CS degree. And it is also lighter and cheeper than m3 pro. The ipad can really be useful for the studies but it is hard to justify ipad pro high price. Don't forget to take into account all the accessories that you usually get with it. I would consider the ipad air instead.
that icon is for photomator, which was released not too long ago by the pixelmator team for iOS and iPadOS. Pixelmator Pro is still available for macOS
so, it is so evidentsthat i have mae a gigantic mistake at this stage after i had selected oneplus 12 R over samsung s23 fe which had no doubt better cameras than this phone. let it be known that i had waited 4 years for this upgrade which was not much but I guess, you dont get what you really want in life
Love my oneplus 12, I want to add a second phone should I go for a pixel 8 pro or S24 Ultra? I thought maybe thr galaxy would be redundant to the OnePlus but its a hell of a phone
@@ViRatio I already have the solo pro’s AND studio pro’s😂 I’m just pointing out the fact that for a modern headphone it’s a downgrade not to have anc plus I’m pretty sure if u fold these headphones it doesn’t power off the headphones which sucks every beats headphone that’s come out since the solo pro’s has been a let down
Interesting review. Despite having an A7rv and 4 G Master lenses I still lust after a Q3. But like you I am not sure about 28mm and fear I might just be disappointed. It's a lot of money too!
Good review. 8.02 Apple is easier to use? How? Because of less features? Using S24 is complicated? Please compare signal reception and call clarity which is the most important feature. Generally Samsung phones have better reception compared to Apple. Call clarity could be comparable.
