drop shot the weight isnt on the bait its in the end if the line and the bait is above the the weight, jig the weight is in the tip or frnt of the bait causing it to dip or sink. you can use same rod or angler actions for both rigs
For fly fishermen, the uni and Palomar use too much line for most tiers unless you get really good at leaving a short tag end. After a couple of fly changes, you have to add more tippet. The Orvis is fine but it's more complicated and I find it tough to tie in low light. I discovered that passing the line through the eye of the hook twice before tying the improved clinch makes it similar to the Palomar and dramatically increases the strength while preventing unraveled pigtails. Years later I learned that the variation already has a name but can't remember what it is. If anyone knows, please share.

CONGRATULATIONS MAN..!!!...YOU KNOW WHAT YOU SHOULD DO WHEN??..WHEN YOU ARE FISHING IN ANOTHER COUNTRY TRY LISTENING TO YOUR GUIDES AND DON'T TO SHOW THEM WHAT YOU DO IN FLORIDA!!!!..IT'S NOT THE SAME...😂😮😊
Hey friend, I have a question, what type of tube do you use to carry your rods when you travel to other places, example, example, like in this case when you went to Panama, how did you carry your rods?
Great video Ryan & Christina! Love how your videos have just gotten better and better. Also, glad you are just enjoying life as it comes your way. The resort looked absolutely amazing and the kitchen shots were great. Thanks for showing the real side of fishing, it’s not always catching. Thanks for sharing!!!
What a fantastic video guys! I felt like you guys were catching not fishing. What a great atmosphere. Well done! Good things happen to good people. Stay safe out there.
