Madness that you last released a video 1 year ago, and the algorithm just said... Mmm yummy, more Average Pixel Also, just here generating engagement x Keep up the good work, king
If anyone really want easy mode I’d recommend my cheese strat of going to every elevator level in the mines at the start of the day. Gets you an automatic ~20 egg level. Gil rewards the highest egg level you get in a day so you can still cavern run without worrying you’ll loose that initial cheesed level if you don’t get higher from caverning
How on earth do you get to mine lvl 14 by 11 am with only 1 parsnip for energy and barely killing an enemy. My character out of food by this time stuck looking for a ladder down. That many floors takes all day that early on
I've never seen 3 chests on floor 300, while typing this you said "you can skip them with a drop shaft" thus making me realize I always accidentally skip those;-;
Hey, at 3:47, in chat, Ethannu_ said "What if you do it again?" This was in reference to when Haboo unforged a max upgrade crit weapon, and it took 1 crit off. That got me thinking. What would happen with a negative number?
@@walnut5617 I mean they aren't the best, they're just way better early than people give them credit for. The math for everyone not in the know: Sprinkler: 80% (4/5) crops to sprinkler ratio Quality: 88.8% (8/9) Iridium: 96% (24/25) Iridium Pressure: 98% (48/49) If you have 100 tillable spots and a perfect place to fit each sprinkler type, you lose 20, 11, 4, or 2 crops depending on which you use. But the point is that even going from Basic to Pressure Iridium, you only gain 22.5% profit (98/80).
Speaking of Dangerous mines hope they fix the statue on floor 120. On PlayStation in will not change back to regular difficulty after quest. Statue does not work on multiplayer either.😢
For those curious, the reason why enchanting loses a crit power at 3:34 is because of float imprecision - basically for floats, a + 1 + 1 - 1 - 1 can be less than a. But it just has +49.99999 instead of +50
@@SullySadface floating point imprecision isn’t a rounding error. It’s a limitation of the choice of numbers types. Also saying floating point imprecision tells us way more of the underlying mechanics than rounding error
@@MightyEumendies Floating point imprecision _is_ a rounding error. Computers store numbers with a limited number of digits, but some numbers can't be represented exactly with finite digits. That means they must be rounded to fit the allotted bits. In base 10 we know that to write the decimal expansion of 1/3 we need infinite 3s: 0.33333... If we only have limited decimal points (let's say 4) we have to cut that off at some point, i.e. round it: 0.3333. Adding three thirds together then results in 0.9999 when it's supposed to be 1. For fractions it depends on the base whether they have a finite expansion. 1/3 is 0.333... in base 10 but 0.4 in base 12. 1/5 on the other hand is some irregular nonsense in base 12 but simply 0.2 in base 10. This is because 10 contains a factor 5 (which 12 doesn't) and 12 contains a factor 3 (which 10 doesn't). The only factor in base 2 is 2, so the only fractions it can store exactly without rounding are halves. p.s. Maybe you think "rounding error" should only refer to intentional rounding in the code rather than hidden rounding within data types. I could see that argument. It's still rounding that causes the error, though :)
Love the video Haboo! I covered the new damage and crit cap increases recently, but I was never able to calculate the absolute Maximum damage. Would you or anyone else in the community be able to figure the absolute max achievable? It’s just beyond my knowledge of the game code lol
Any chance you can live stream on RU-vid as well? I believe twitch allows double streams now. Twitch is a god awful website and I’m almost certain you’d get more viewers on here than twitch.
I think drop shafts spawns more when you have worse luck. This is only theory but I've been noticing it alot when i try to dive during unlucky vs lucky days.
