Hi thank for your video , the vortex look very good . If you have tarnish on the a2 steel you can remove that with a metal polish . That work good with my bravo 1 in a2 . Ciao
Did you get it yet?? I ordered one this past weekend....makes me want to figure out a way to get out and do videos again. Moved to North Carolina and I'm in a bit more populated area.
hi I know that I am out of time to expect an answer but I try the same, I was willing to buy this knife but I do not like the black covers at all and very often they do not allow the use of the firesteel, without the black cover it is improved in use with the firesteel? another thing how long did you wait between one layer and the other in applying the patina? thank you
Thnx, Bruv..I have the bravo 1 in CPM 3V, and I am considering this tool more now from your vid 🔥 You won yourself a fan with your comment about the knife safety and potential cuts 😂 One knows, after a while, what to do and what not to do ☮️
Hi. This is the first time I’ve seen the CTec handles. I haven’t seen them on any other channels. I have to say they are fantastic looking. If I had a knife made, I would order CTec for sure. Enjoying your channel.
Plenty of room in the Ionosphere. You have to do everything in the horizontal position. There is no sitting up or cooking inside the tent, but it is still a nice little tent. If you know that the temperature is below your bags rating, why didn't you prepare for that by bringing a liner, warmer sleeping clothes, reflecting blanket, insulated pad, etc.? Sleeping cold just shows lack of knowledge and preparation.
Tell ya a story back 20yrs ago I bought a new wolverine my buddy had a 400 sportsman he couldn't keep up with me so next year Polaris came out with a 500 sportsman he bought one and I still dusted him boy was he passed lol
it doesnt have a sabre grind...i used a work sharp and it left that mark on there. kinda mad about it, but its a flat grind. I used painters tape around the handle where i didnt want to strip the coating off. thanks for watching
In Europe even a Ring at a knife is often forbidden because you can use the ring as brass knuckles... no joke that’s the explanation but you can wear 1 fat rings on every finger without a problem.... 🤷♀️
If you only have one knife to choose I believe this will be it. I own one for a few years now and it honestly does everything. Of course a lt Wright gen would be better but it doesn’t have the weight to chop like a bk2. You can honestly chop some wood down, baton and break some wood down, then make some kindle and start a fire. When I go to the woods I carry my bk2, my bahco saw and my mora bushcraft. That’s my set up and I can build and start a fire with kink problems.
It's 80crv2 carbon steel as well,I'm waiting to order me a bark river bravo alpha exclusive special order with black Lenin micarta handle scales, then I'm getting me a skrama soon as my big chopper bush knife to substitute like a hatchet, it's a no bullshit knife, at least that's the moto in Finland.
@@TheLankyWoodsman oh ok thanks!.....another question. You can't use a ferro rid because of that coating . So can you just remove the coating off the top flat side down say 2 inches to expose a sharp corner. ? To enable you to use a ferro rod on the knife?
@@TheLankyWoodsman your ctek is unique, but I found a nice one in green micarta on ebay. I understand it's discontinued now. I justbstarted to look more into BR as I havent been very interested or in the market for one of their knives before. But this ones a purr beast that I just want to invest in. Not just own lol.
I took off the handle scales, taped off the part that is covered by the handles and then used a paint stripper to remove the coating and used yellow mustard to create a patina.
I have a tops C. U. T. 4.0 and love it. Mine was just over 100.00 nice kydex sheath and 1095 steel. It is my edc. I highly recommend it to people who like the bushbat but, can't afford the extra cash.
3V is so tough you could build a chopper this size out of .100 probably and still never ever break it have it still perform like a beast too!! I wonder if they did it so think just for weight to improve chopping???
