I talk about my Life Experiences such as doing 5 years and 3 months in Prison for a 1st time drug offense in 1990 to Steroid abuse after prison and having a mild heart attack going from 192 ponds to 296 pounds..and other health issues over the years such as Vertigo I also talk about cars I buy and resell and what to look out for (common issues /Pros and Cons etc) Also I do local travel videos throughout New England showing our local tourist destinations to hiking and walking trails
I went back..cost me $120 for them to tell me it was not leaking but said it was cam seal leak-crank seal leak..I was like really?? Where is that video showing that from the Tech? Dont' have it ..But you had video showing the lower pan gasket needing replacing .. I sold the lexus the other day so I didn't get a chance to make another video on it but in the next car video I will talk a little about it..This dealership didn't have this repair in their records but when confronted with the receipt of work done..OHHHHH thats weird..I wouldn't trust this dealership ...
what did you get ? miles? Since this video I bought maybe 4 more ..I would have to look..I just picked up a 07 Sidewalk Edition convertible so its still a R52(SC) Thats a upcoming video
@@BaldadonisMike2021 The red Fiat 500 Abarth. Black stripes & black mirror caps. It's been a few years (life got in the way). Sometimes I would wear the "Ghostface" mask around Halloween.😁
I still blame myself for not buying a 350z back in 2018. Could have gotten good ones with less then 100k km for 8-9k€ in very good condition. Just 4 years after that I checked again and the same cars suddenly sold for 20k....
I own a 2007 lexus ES350...and I am very happy with it. I got it with 96,000 miles and now it has about 130,000. Very reliable car. He hasn't let me down yet...although I had some minor faults. I think I'm the only one who has this model in Bosnia and it's a bit difficult to get parts. Greetings to all like-minded people and Lexus drivers!
Nice pig! What some call the cayenne in the P community. I’ve got a 958 GTS as well, bought used at 71k miles, currently at 102k. Def check out Rennlist, loads of information and DIYs. I would recommend checking the thermostat housing, a known component to fail if it’s the design that has the coolant pipes glued. During my ownership, I had to replace the battery and starter . The passenger rear lock actuator needs replacing as well (common). Oh, and check the drain holes..they get clogged and that can cause some headaches. Enjoy the truck, especially the na v8!!
Thanks for the comment ! Yes the past owner only serviced it at Porsche as well as the owner prior to him...have you done a walnut cleaning ?(valves ) this pig runs a bit rough and I don't think thats been done..starter was replaced at $3000 ouch last year..battery as well..It was garaged all its life so hopefully the drains are clog free but I will check that out and when I go for my new tires and brakes I ll have the thermostat looked it! Thank again for reaching out!
I don't know ,I didn't ask..But feel free to call Mike at Auto Envy Detailing in Hudson NH..Tell him you seen the video and was interested in what he used! He ll get a kick out of it ....
Happy upcoming birthday! Cayenne looks awesome looking forward to seeing you working on it. I sold my 99/996 recently and got a low milage 09 987.2 Cayman. Anyway good to see your doing a lot better health wise.
225K That's nothing, Mine has 282K+ and will reach 300K before the year ends. Of course you made this video three years ago, and back then it was around the 250K range. Either way, when I boast about the mileage on mine, I get as many people who are stunned by the mileage as there are people who think it's not such a big deal.
The point of these videos..people think 100k miles is too high..and I like buying high mile Lexus/Toyotas to show people dont be afraid of high miles on a Toyota if maintenance is done to it
I owned this exact Z4, but with the red leather interior. Bought it CPO in CA (2005, 13k) in 2007 from a local BMW dealer. It was my daily driver for nearly 9 yrs, and yes, I found it to be practical. I'm single and the car had ample space in the interior (5'11, 178lbs) and the trunk for the size of the car was bigger than most would think. I did plenty of Costco, and airport (baggage) runs in it. The car is built like a tank & the engine (M54) as mentioned is in fact bullet proof. I kept up with required scheduled maintenance to include oil changes every 5k miles. The only thing that I had to replace was the valve cover gasket at 34k, and the dealership took care of it under warranty. I got compliments wherever I drove. The Z4 Roadster to me is just a 'looker'. Some may not think so. After 9 yrs & 40k miles later of ownership, I decided to upgrade to a 135i. The BMW dealership bought it from me and gave me top dollar at the time in 2015. I have missed owning & driving the Z4. I am now actively looking for one, and this time around, I will keep it for the long run. If you are an enthusiast and looking for a Z4, look no further than the E85 with the M54 engine. You will not regret it.
That was a great comment! I tried buying 2 this season..1 white 1 blk..white was nice but it needed a few things and for the price I had skip that 1..The blk one they was a email nightmare -back and fourth and he would nt give me a day to look at it..with that said...I bought a 07 M6 convertible that my friend owned(Dave in this video-sold it to his customer and the wife doesn't like it SMG trans-so I bought it.).its for sale now aa I went through it, love it..but I will find another Z in future ,so much fun!
BTW I had a red 2009 135 6 speed M sport convertible and I think thats 1 of my favorites ,bought it only a few years old w low miles so I really loved it back in the day!
I got a 2007 with 370,000 mi on it and it's stilllllllllll rocking. it ain't the prettiest looking thing on the road😂 but it's rock solid. ABS lights all that bullshit just ignore them basically meaningless. Traction control? Nope. Stabilitrack? Nope don't need it. I bought it when it had 220k and all those things didn't matter and I never intended on fixing them.
You're concerned with how someone that gives you the amount you're asking for a vehicle treats the car after you've made the sale and made your profit ? Not the smartest business sense but hey you do you brother!
Hello dear how are you I hope you’re doing very well today me and my brother went to see the Lexus RX350 2008 model and it’s 495,000 miles so what should you think should I buy it and I have another option is Santa Fe 2013 model which is 329,000 miles so which one should I buy which one will be best
Also yes,the power up hill is fair. I am praying it works out. My first Honds. Paint is fading here and there will buy a touch up kit and some good wax :)
Many dealerships avoid doing warranty work as much as possible since they don't get paid as much from the manufacturer as customer paying out of pocket.
This was over oil pan gasket they "repaired" from last Sept and was still leaking..So this is not a newer car warranty that manufactures has to pay the dealership..not sure if this is what you was referring too?
Hey Baldadonis , Do you think those 2013-2019 mercedes CLAs look way better than 2020+ models? And how many years left if to tell 2014 CLAs are old looking Mercedes? just your opinion
Pray 🙏 all is well... I'm a long time Toyota/Lexus owner myself. I've recently started my search for a really clean sc430. Best convertible around for the money.
@@jjrimz99tandem_drifter just a baby! I took it out last night ,it was 68 degrees here -rare cool day from the past 2 weeks..so I enjoyed the top down and checked out the scenery ! I ll be making the next video on the M6 hopefully this week -I'm working on my Lexus SC430..And just bought a 2007 Mini Cooper S Sidewalk Edition..
I've had my 2007 FJ for 11 years,, got it when it had 88000 miles and now it has 337600 miles and i'm just now changing the spark plugs for the first time and i've replaced the alternator twice...
Great video-except please lower the relative music volume. Great topic. These hold up well in general. More slop than I like in the steering by design. Definitely a GT not a hard edged sports coupe. That said, a legend. With one of the best engines ever made. Smooth, strong and pretty much bullet-proof. Great used buy. Pricey when new, but now well worth it.
Sorry my music was too loud for you -you have a volumn button ? Use it ..🤣 I dont want you stab me with your Skeletool ! 1 of the best engines ,I agree ..Do you own a SC430? You seem to know about the steering being loose/sloopy
I bought that 2.5 years ago for $4000 I think..I dont recall..but my friend bought it and lasted her another 1.5 years until she bought a new Mazda suv...
Knock sensor, an easy job. I had the same issues due to a rat nest. I replaced both knocks, sensors, and wiring harnesses. It fixed my problem, KNOW THIS best way to buy a yota cheap and fix it yourself. I only wished this had happened before I installed my supercharger , and I had to change the evaporator canister, but this is normal on any vehicle. Gas mileage is bad due to all wheel drive , don't use tire shine on your plastic use a product from Eastwood plastic resurfacer Matt black one and done
Sweet ride, I bought a 07 yota fj cruiser 6 speed with 244k on odometer, I installed a Magnuson supercharger 6-inch pro comp lift kit, arb front bull bumper, a expedition one dual swing out rear bumper, got rid of gret mirrors for black put led light in mirrors, replaced oem rubber floor , added clazzio 2 tone red & black leather seat covers , trashed factory roof rails for front-runner roof rack added arb rooftop tent and awning, got rid of shift boots & knobs for red & white theme, added orange boxx rear fold down table, I added dual odyssey batteries, ebc brakes, hood solar panels, trd exhaust, custom race steering wheel, 6inch pro comp lift , updated taillights to 2014 , many more accessories if I was previous owner I would have kept it , 😊 I hear a 2025 yota fj cruiser coming , 😊
Only reason I bought it! In person it's really nice ,I seen them in ads or online videos, never in person, when the owner drove into the parking lot with it I was like wow..very nice! Thanks for the comment Dave!
Great video mate , I’ve got a 2004 986 boxster 2.7 which I’ve had for 5-6 years and I love it . Just getting the clutch replaced and the IMS done at the same time. Don’t ask me how much it costs 😂
I sold mine to an elderly gentleman and he loves it..he races Porsches and he decided to replace the IMS Bearing and it was in great shape!-glad you enjoy your car and ty for the comment!
A lot of those 2.4L had stripped head bolt issues. I had to get the head gaskets replaced on my 2006 SE camry at 187k miles. Its now got 2014k miles on it, probably can go another 200k or 400k miles. They also do burn oil too but must cars over 200k will burn some oil which is normal. The VVT intake gear is also common on a lot of Toyotas due to a design flaw as you will liley hear a rattile at cold start ups. Other than that Toyotas are solid vehicles and better made than anything else out there.
@@BaldadonisMike2021 I plan on driving it until th wheels fall off. I might grab a Tacoma later as a 2nd vehicle for healing stuff. Have you heard of The Car Car Nut channel? Almed is a very highly knowledgeable probably one of he best Toyota specialists you will find in here with valuable info. I watch alot of Scotty Kilmer a lot too both my favorite channels.
Years ago I picked an 06 IS350 similar conditions. 4 years and almost 90k miles later it never left me stranded. I drove the living heck out of it every single day. These Lexus's are awesome value. Cheap maintenance Quiet to drive Very comfortable
Thanks for reaching out! I been looking for is 350s...hard to come by ..I looked at a is250 before buying this with 200k-looked great but but the suspension and steering was bit whacked ..Kinda like this 1 lol but I think I got the better car out of the 2..It needs tlc and hoping it's not too much ..we ll see next week when we go to the shop and check it out! Whatever it needs ..I ll go through it for videos..
Thank you so very much for sharing your information regarding the Lexus RX350. I am thinking about buying a used Lexus RX350 because I can't afford it brand new, plus the value goes down immediately when you drive it off the lot. I currently have a 2010 Honda CRV and right now its literally driving me crazy. I bought it November of 2020 with just a little over 78K miles on it. I just put 4 brand new Yokohama tires on it 2 weeks ago and now all of a sudden my driver's side door lock is clicking on and off constantly when I drive. It doesn't close fully and have to force it closed in order for the alarm to set. When I'm making a right turn only, my left door lock opens and once in a while you can hear it unlatch and it scared the heck out of me because the driver's side door flew open as I drove down the street. I'm hoping that it's the actuator itself, and I'm trying to have a neighbor of mine fix it. My ac doesn't work COLD either, it comes on, but it blows out very hot air, not good when it's 98 degrees outside, and you get a quick torrential downpour. The heat works, but not the ac. When you turn the ac on, you can hear it come on and off you can hear it turn off. I like the car, and I'm trying to save up to get these things fixed asap.
So are you going to put money into the Honda or go out and buy a Lexus? Little stuff like your door lock opening is kinda annoying for sure..the A/C on some cars are weak as the weather is hotter it does take awhile to fully cool down a vehicle unless you you are low..and can benefit from a recharge ..not that expensive ..how many miles you have on it now? Thanks for the reaching out and leaving a comment! What part of the country are you in?
Well 1 week laterite acted up again! This time I did use a little wd40..see if that helps ,but its working again ..lol..Convertibles are fun until they are not
I just bought a 2010 Lexus RX 450h with 115k miles on it in 2024. It was never in an accident and drives like a dream on the original struts and shocks, insane. I’ll be getting new shocks and struts, new rotors and breaks and a transmission fluid flush and fill. The car gives me 30mpg but the hybrid battery does seem to be showing its age so my best friend Dave who is a mechanic said he can put a lithium battery bank in it which would be 4x better than the original hybrid battery brand new.
I was looking at 450H last week but with higher miles and I never had a hybrid -so I kinda lost interest and just bought a 02 SC430 last night ! next car video/videos coming up
He is in New Hampshire early on was Toyota and think for many years-then he found local person ..I sold it year and a half ago so I dont have all the paperwork anymore to give you a better answer
