Like taking a trip back in time! I remember hearing him on t.v. cause Paw Paw watched him faithfully! I haven't heard anyone talk about boo-ray in such a long time. So glad Paw Paw taught me how to play. I miss my Paw Paw so much 😢 Wish I could have taken him to see Justin Wilson, but I was too young back then.
Save with me I couldn't wait to watch him on t v And I started cooking cajun for myself Dial 10 daughters she thinks a bell peppers hot But the youngest one she was about thirteen months old wanted to eat everybody's food I told her this is not for you, baby, this is, for me. It's hot she didn't care She didn't stop eating it either The oldest one tried to spin it all over the place screaming hot I like to put a little kick The baby ate it Carcino the mother I didn't quite see I all the time I hadn't seen her long time and I asked her one day I said no Do you like hot food Yeah I love cajun I just don't know why Just be child I know why
One episode his nose was running and he said "Oh my nose is gettin' athletic (t sound not th sound?) Cracked me up! I still say it every once in a while.
Whoever said nothing Cajun about him.....born in Roseland in Tangipahoa Parish guess I'm not Apache cause I wasn't born in a teepee in texas or somewhere....which Apache didn't use
My sister, dad, and I would watch him all the time when I was a kid. My dad was always impressed by how he could measure the spices exactly in his palm. This brings such nostalgia. I hope Justin's family knows how much joy he brought people with his show.
Same as most of the comments !!! I first listened to his comedy album “ME I GOT A FRIEND “ memorized every story as a 12 year old …. Then became a self taught professional cook ..ha ..yeah right.. but I do enjoy cooking till this day ..RIP JW ….
My favorite chef of all time. I would run to watch PBS when Justin Wilson would come on. I am Justin Wilson when I cook! Loved when he told the Boudreaux stories.
However, if you have a high salt solution with a shrimp in Soutern white wine;;it will draw that wine into the shrimp because the universe requires everything to be balanced. Everything is better if Balanced.
When I was about 28...I would watch Justin, just for the stories. But was soon drawn into the cookin aspect. I'm a SoCal kid, who is now 60+....furthest thing from a Cajun. I still cook Justin's recipes, and amaze my friends and family, with his knowledge. I have tons of VHS tape of this guy. Love me some Cookun Cajun...I guar-on-teeee. Thank you, Justin. I have been called a great cook, but I am just a student, of this guy..
Giuliani is a idiot. He spent all his chess pieces on Trump. He knew Trump is a cheap skate. I am disabled and worked a little too much. I was cut off my benefits and now I have a $45,171.70 overpayment to Social Security. I made $18 grand in 2023. I don't do dry cleaning. I have to drag my laundry to a laundry mat. Our system of government favors dumb morons like this.
Im telling you rit now that this man is something special!! Way more than anything that people can be today, we are so privileged to be able to see and hear him today..
Grew up poor and still am poor. Didn't have cable or satellite. Grew up with drug attic farther and mother. I always looked forward to sitting on the floor and watching him when he came on. I'm a 90's baby. Thank you Mr wilson For the the good memories and the funny stories. Rest in Peace sir. When Justin wilson came on he took me away just briefly from the abuse.
