This reminded me of a conversation I had with a friend. I was in a Discord-call with him and another guy. He started comparing the Strongest Battlegrounds to Dark Souls and Subnautica (which he never played) when I mentioned that Roblox wasn't good. Me and the other guy in the call bursted out in laughter when he tried to defend the game after he called it better than Subnautica and Dark Souls😂

You see eclipse, type soul is just like a badly crafted bowl. The bowl has a soup, lots of different favours mixxed, lots of bad ones and some good ones. This can be compared to type soul races, god i fucking hate those hakuda and quincys

@@Sandyje its not out yet, not even a alpha at the moment since im a solo dev lol but at the moment the title is just "every battlegrounds game ever" which is a bit ironic seeing how much i got planned for it. most likely the title will change further in dev
That last (nice) comment is also something that's been on my mind too. I don't play Roblox much, if at all, and honestly... Seeing the positive first impressions are always fun videos to watch. In an age where nearly every popular game is an unplayable donation farm, it's nice to see REAL criticism; I appreciate how well thought-out your takes are, even if I don't see eye-to-eye with every single one. You consider positives, negatives, come back to the topic if you change your mind, give a benefit of a doubt when needed, and stake your claims with enough blunt force to give an ox a concussion. That being said, thinking on those impressions and reviews in the past, making a game could be fun. Assuming I, or anyone else attempting such, are open enough to take (reasonable) player interests into account. That video on games being "too balanced" always stands out to me as well. It was a thought I had regularly, yet never fleshed out in the way your video has. But at this point I'm dragging on. You get the idea. Keep up the god work, dude! 👍
I'd say it's more like a cup. Bowls hold food Cups hold liquids. The stupidity that Roblox players emjt is because of their rotted braincells that turned to mush. Bowls can't properly hold the sheer amount of liquid that Roblox players rotting brains emit.

On the topic of the guts and blackpowder talk. Ive watched this channel for a long time, since like halfway through YBA stuff, and ive been playing guts and blackpowder since launch. The only problem with that video that I had was that, on first impression, a lot of what you thought was wrong. this isnt me trying to insult eclipse, i dont expect you to play the game for hours upon hours just to figure stuff out for a single video, but ive noticed that a lot of the negative comments on that video was about getting stuff wrong. problem is, the guts and blackpowder community is VERY toxic, thats a fact, and we will all take any and every opportunity to have an argument

DUDE THANK YOU, as an older player getting back into roblox, I hopped on type soul and was SHOCKED. No tutorial, no information, no nothing. Imagine a game so complicated that it needs its own discord SUPPORT server. Its insane people defend it
I feel like we all tune out the background, but, when you actually look at it as a whole its actually pretty damn funny. Type soul was expected, blackpowder caught me a little off guard though.. I had to come back and say ive had a tough week and this video, and these ddos videos in general house some of THE funniest reactions and replies ive seen. Couldn't stop laughing at the damn type soul section.
As someone who had to play type soul all the way from nothing to true vasto and true vizard with both bankai and segunda, yeah it's horrid. The process itself didn't take me long, but the amount of people wanting to gank me for breathing was insane.
There's the hollow progression in the game where you have to kill other hollows to evolve. First level is a normal hollow, second level is Menos, third and before the last one is Adjuchas. Sounds good right? Yeah, I agree it does as well. But then you realize to get the last and final stage of the hollow progression (which is Vasto Lorde) You have to kill other Adjuchas (NPCs or players) lots of times while trying to stay alive for as long as possible. Because if you die even once, you lose mask fragments or whatever they are fucking called (Yes, I unfortunately DID the entire grind) Anyways, you thought it was over wasn't it? You thought you are able to get Vasto Lorde now, right? NO. You have to kill a Vasto Lorde to become one! And to put salt in the wound, the way you find the Vasto Lorde with is so fucking bad It's honestly hilarious. And after you find the goddamn NPC, you have to use a glitch which is backing into a big rock and jumping to the top every time you become low. (If you die to the Vasto Lorde, you get reset back all the way to Menos.) If that is not cancerous game design, then I don't know what is.
That reminds me a lot of an old bleach game on roblox that had a similar problem but this time it was with menos we dont talk about the menos progression
Vasto Lorde progression being difficult/competitive makes sense it's like that in Bleach too you know the source material and it's not really bad game design either cause it's entirely optional as it's still possible to transform into a vastocar once you become an Adjucar/Adjuchas Arrancar besides you only lose 5 mask fragments everytime you die as an Adjuchas my biggest issue with Vasto Lorde progression isn't how competitive or punishing it is but moreso how infrequent and quite frankly rarely the Adjuchas npcs spawn in killing and finding the Vasto Lorde at the end of the grind is truly atrocious tho so there's definetly still a lot they can improve on
I don't think I have ever played a game where E is the button to draw a weapon. It's either been 1, Q, or 1-0 + scroll wheel if it's a hotbar like minecraft or terraria.
Peroxide is just better type soul. Though it doesn't change the fact that it shares the same overall gameplay, so I don't think eclipse should ever bother with it.
Tbh not-so-daily dose of stupid may be the best part of roblox youtube I've seen. But I wonder how would another channel do which would be focused on making videos of other types of games (NOT ROBLOX) Eclipse FPS was a mistake and it didn't work as planned but still the idea sits on the back of my head
Eclipse i would love it if you would play starscape. It's the biggest sandbox game on Roblox. After the tutorial its not rlly clear what you wanna do you can do whatever. i just wanna see you play this lol.
