I am getting the same error when launching Hogwarts Legacy on my PS5. It crashes right after the seizure warning. I first bought a disc version of the game and thought the disc itself was the issue. Turns out my downloaded game from PS Store has the same issue. So far all my other games seem to work perfectly fine. It is just Hogwarts Legacy that I haven't been able to play for a minute.
In my mk1 too ..but it crashes only in online matches .....but not everytime in the online matches ! But while I am playing like invasion ! And doing some practice while learning the character nothing happens ....no crashes at all ...but just specifically while I am playing the online matches it crashes sometimes after the gap of 2 days ..
Habe das selbe Problem bei einer 2 Tage alten PS5 slim. Bei Last of us part1 immer wenn ich speichern will kommt dieser Fehler. Ich denke bei mir liegt esam verbauten Speicher HDD. Setup ist 1080p TV ohne HDR ganz simpel. Nach Reset der Konsole habe ich das Spiel ohne Updates installiert. Nichts half, habe die PS5 zurückgegeben. Ich gehe von einem Hardware Defekt aus. Alle Versuche den Fehler irgendwie zu umgehen, umgeht nur die Ursache den Defekt. Ich warte auf die PRO.
Crashing in game launch is a RAM failure, it requires reballing all RAM on the motherboard but obviously if warranty is there its better to return it to Sony.
3 years later and after my 3 months old buy console have every month this error code, normally i start system new and it works not i must go to lower mode and turn 120 hz off hope it works 4 longer time now, problem is by nhl 23 or nba 2k23
Just started getting this issues this year on Fortnite only. Started on march 27th and lasted about a week. Then it went away, and it came back on April 12th, and it's still here. I think it happens whenever Fortnite updates for me, and hopefully it'll go away after tomorrow (1 week since it started up again). Just my luck.
bad news! The problem continues and now it is on the new PS5 slim the same error CE-108255-1 disk version :( The astro game starts and freezes when entering. I also tried the sonic frontiers game and after 5 minutes it also freezes. I had to return my purchase I am very sad
For thos still getting this, but are only getting it after a while of playing, i noticed that when the hdmi port at the back of ps5 gets got it causes this error too, ive pulled my console even more away from the wall and it helped but unfortunately not a permanent fix as when it gets hot after an hour or so it crashes again, so to me it seems like its the ps5 hdmi port thats the problem.
Im having this issue its saying no internet connection when my internet is fine i have a year of ps plus and its acting like i need to purchase it tried every thing waiting for monday to talk to sony
Yes I've tried everything every time I play surviving mars on my ps5 it crashes every time. I bought the disk version of the ps5 three years ago and it keeps crashing. Every other game works in fact I am playing red dead redemption now, I did send my PS4 back a couple of years ago and never got it back. As it was totally bricked.
Ok this one you will like I’ve had and still play many Ubisoft titles from Sony ps4/5 to Xbox / pc Xbox live … switch as well. So peep this on Sony ps5 I have the og model and 3 new versions for my kids. We play siege yet now my units and my profile only gets a penalty ban for mnk when I’m using controller. Hardwired and each unit has own v3 gigabit switch ports of course. Dude controls 1 and A and now B they get error as using mnk … brand new only this title. We should def link up this is a good one manny players are getting error.
For me personally, turning off HDCP in Safe mode to 1.4 as well as heavily reducing my screen resolution to 720p ACTUALLY unglitched my Resident Evil 2 Remake game.😊👍

Not sure if this will work for you lot but has worked for me so far (been playing 30 minutes) turn off 120hz from automatic to Off - I’m only on a 60hz tv so makes sense for me :) hope this might help
I’m in disbelief; nearly 4 years later and this is still happening. I have the disc version of the PS5, and I got it in March or April of 2022. Unfortunately, I just experienced the infamous CE-108255-1 error code for the first time a week or two ago. It’s only gotten worse with time. It started with Spider-Man PS5 (the remastered version of the PS4 edition) crashing once every few hours or so, but in the last week it started happening with other games too. Now, I can’t play any PS5 game whether it be Astro’s Playroom, Spider-Man, or Fortnite for more than a minute without the my game freezing and giving me that lousy error code. Surprisingly, I’ve yet to experience this error code on a PS4 game, which I find very strange. I’m devastated because my PS5 was a gift for graduating high school and, of course, this problem had to happen after my warranty ended and when I’m now a stereotypical broke college student. I’ve done spent hours researching the issue, and it truly seems like my console is done for or “bricked”. I’ve tried what seems like everything except resetting my console in safe mode because I refuse to do that; I have too many saved files that I can’t stomach losing, especially if it won’t even fix the issue like I’ve heard from others. Lastly, I must say it so nice to hear from someone who is ACTUALLY experiencing this error code. All the other RU-vidrs who are posting videos on “how to fix CE-108255-1” aren’t experiencing the issue themselves. They are simply just regurgitating what PlayStation said on their website, which isn’t helpful at all. So, I do really appreciate the videos you have made covering this issue. Hopefully this situation will be resolved soon, but I’m rapidly losing faith. Feels like the PS5 equivalent to the Xbox 360’s notorious “red ring of death”.
I think its a PlayStation Network issue. It would be a console issue but its happening on both PS4 and PS5. PS4 didnt have this issue until they launched PS5. So whatever they have done to it, is what is causing this problem.
Got the same problem since yesterday all games keeps crashing... but the games that i can stream from ps + work fine but when i install them they crash
Yo until sony fixes these issues im not playing til they come up with a resoulution to this. First nba 2k24 and now my grand theft auto 5. I may consider buying a slim but people have stated they had the same issues
