425 have no electronic fuel pump, they are naturally aspirated hence the choke lever the 445 & 455 electronic fuel injection electric fuel pumps don't have. don't pressure wash the rats next between the radiator screen and the electronics & wiring in the console stand. things short out easier. the rats build nests right there on the electronics that stay warm with the battery connection. they can build a full nest in a week. the babies being liquid mass also short out things. i found using a leaf blower never has resulted in this problem in my 1996 445 as well as my 2001 aws 445. thanks for the video.
I don't disagree there great but everyone has basically lost there minds with them. There worth what the people have deemed them every 400 whatever owner thinks its gold
I have an old 455 and turn key and have no ignition lights at all. Was using it, it stalled and stopped now everything feels dead with no ignition lights
I decided not to put a loader on my 420. It's tough for a little garden tractor, but I don't think i want to abuse it this much. I built a loader using an F10 loader mounted on a truck many years ago. It was turned around so that the weight was on the rear axle. We used that loader every day to feed cattle and do other work. It had a Turbo Hydramatic (automatic) transmission with a 3 speed "Brownie" transmission because of the large industrial tires on it. With the Power Steering and Power Brakes it was easy to operate.
Good Video. I mount lifting forks on my Little Bucket Loader on my John Deere 455. When I lift something and move around the bucket tilts which then the load slides off the forks. Would installing this valve stop it from tilting? I appreciate any help you could give me.
We are all very grateful that his family has kept all his videos for us all to refer to. He loved his John Deere tractors and always have great advice and wonderful ideas
3000lb is way over 1 cubic yard, thats not bad for a small trailer. This is the first dump trailer I seen at 4' 6" wide all the rest is 5'. I was also surprised how fast the bed came down.........
Recently found you video regarding the Curtis cab heater, and I was inspired to instal one, I just finished the installations and after running it for a quite a while I'm not getting enough flow to the heater, I was wandering if you have any idea what it can be??
You have no idea how much I appreciate you sharing this. I live in central Wisconsin and have a 1000' driveway with breaker rock. I have a 42" JD with the flared front end. It's been a major research but after watching your video I'm going to mirror your efforts.
Don't name the video a rebuild and then spend 8 minutes talking. Actually doa rebuild . You've made 2 videos named rebuild and only show a disassembled engine
For any who don’t know in the comments the great teaser 52 collection of JD equipment is up for sale. He was a great inspiration to me to share my John Deere experiences and start my channel. He will for ever be missed within the John Deere community!😢
I'm very sorry to hear that, I felt we were kindred spirits as I too also own a 425 & 445. In fact his videos convinced me to order a Little Buck loader, which completely transformed my 445 from an outstanding mower to a work horse tractor. Of course as with all things Deere it didn't stop there, I had to add the piranha tooth bar, a 3-point hitch, a heavy hitch receiver, and six 42 lb suitcase weights for ballast. Got my eye open for a tiller now. You mentioned his equipment is for sale, is there listing? You can never have too large a herd of Deere! I pray Mr. Tesser is plowing in peace. I will dearly miss his RU-vid videos. He was a good man!
I really appreciate this video when the tires went bad on my 425 I replaced them with 2612.12 r1 tires and I agree it looks much I change the front as now my 4:25 and my 4:55 have the same size tires on them
