Fitting a Curl Lockout Valve supplied by Auxiliary Hydraulics. It allows the LBL loader bucket to be locked when the rear 3pt hitch is in use. Video explains how best to fit the valve, on which hose, and the pitfalls to avoid.
thank you for making these great videos. I have a 445 myself and I appreciate the visual shared knowledge. love from Maine - keep making them as you complete projects!
Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!!! I just bought a little buck for my 425 and am also installing a Ruegg 3pt. I'll be doing the same valve setup and it is super nice to see it done before I get started!!
Thanks to you and your videos, I've ordered a Little Bull for my 455 along with a few other items you've showed us. Great job on the videos. I grew up on a farm in the 70's and have some experience with tractor hydraulics. I have to say when I saw you start out to install the valve I was hoping you had released the pressure first. Well, that didn't go quite as planned. ;)
Thanks for the video! I ordered both of the lockout valves a few days ago rather than the H3 kit. While the H3 kit would certainly be more convenient at times and the delta cost isn't to bad, what swayed me was the difference in installation effort. After reading the install instructions for the H3 kit, I decided these simple valves would be much less of an undertaking. My parts haven't arrived yet, thanks for figuring out which hose is which and the tips! I also have a Ruegg CAT 1 3pt on it's way. Fun stuff ahead.
Good Video. I mount lifting forks on my Little Bucket Loader on my John Deere 455. When I lift something and move around the bucket tilts which then the load slides off the forks. Would installing this valve stop it from tilting? I appreciate any help you could give me.
Would this same valve work plumbed into the rear of hydraulic block, shut off 3 point, rather then the remote switch. One valve shutting off loader curl, a second to shutting off rear? Any hydraulic fitting experts know what to search for. "1/2" boss male, 1/2" o-ring female valve, ORB"? Hard to find proper fitting. Built my own loader in covid lock-down, out of scrap schedule 40 tubing, works but working out the kinks... Thank you.
