Hi Mazie. I was considering buying the pit boss Austin. I went to Walmart and I thought the quality was very poor. Very light steel compared to the Pitt boss pro series 850 from Lowe’s. I do belief that pit boss makes a less inferior product for Walmart to keep the price down. When lifting the lid of the Austin compared to the 850 there was a total weight difference in the steel. I know that the 850 is made using 14 gauge steel, I think that the onyx series is much less. Let me know what you think. Thanks again for the great video.
Did you see that alien!? Good advise! All depends what you do the most of! I have a vertical smoker but I also make almost 50lbs of deer jerky each season so it's the best option for me!
I have an Austin XL and a Series 7 for the big get togethers and Series 5! I'll be using all of them in August for my Daughter's wedding doing 7 prime rib, 9 beef tenderloin and 40 chicken quarters! "DID YOU SEE THAT ALIEN" GREAT VIDEO MAZIE!!
Mine is used with no instructions...So how do you adjust the temperature? The flame just keeps going and going you didn't show what the little "p" is for.. I don't understand any of this honestly...
