Another great video. Another late watch. Can I have an AI robot that (very patiently) teaches me all the practical skills I never learned as a younger thing, but wish I knew now? Please! ps. I continue to be amazed at what you're making here at Cool Dudes. Done with great skill, creativity and patience, and despite the slow growth, it feels built to last.
I must have missed this video when you put it out Marek but that ending has genuinely made me cry laughing, just one disappointment after another with lots of laughter, brilliant. Also, the surprise bleeps about Rowan's best friends, I agree! Nice one mate, Stay cool!
Yes I picked door #7! Our weather has been the same (Saskatchewan), though now its 30° inside in the shade and hotter in the sun so I'm staying in with a fan! My camera for the club has come in the mail now I look forward to trying it out downtown Maybe catch a few Haha
Luxury item would be the 7” megalodon tooth I’ve been watching on eBay for months that is almost SIXTEEN THOUSAND English pounds. Dream mantelpiece object
Really love your videos from both the channels. So many people do constant jump cuts and all the other modern editing styles. Your editing is great as there are long cuts and short. Reminds me of when TV was good (I am getting old)
Not sure if this counts as a luxury item, but a home cinema. No, not a 50-inch TV and five tinny speakers around the living room. I mean a bespoke room with a few plump chairs, built-in sound system, and a blimmin' great big screen.
I think a dam, locks and reservoir would be a good addition. Or maybe that's just as I walk around reservoirs quite a bit and want to get more points. Military vehicle is another idea. Hippie van or serial killers van might be good. I'd like to see some more animals and plants added, just general stuff.
The white horses remind me of my favourite childhood film, The Last Unicorn. I used to drive my older sister insane by choosing it every other Friday from the video rental shop.
Nice walk and excellent painting cool dude. My luxury item would be the sit in Atari Star Wars arcade game... I could only ever do it on easy, but I would love practising if I had my own.
My luxury item cool dude would be a Pioneer DJ Opus-Quad All-In-One DJ System, I’ve got turntables but I’d like to try something snazzy and “with it” as the young people say. This I hope would then help me to become a superstar dj like fat boy slim or Ken Bruce 👍
Hey in regards to the bird song, have you tried Merlin Bird ID by Cornell Lab it's an app on your phone that is pretty great at identifying bird song. In regards to the question of the day. This is gonna seem silly but Carl Grimes from the Walking Dead is my favorite character in fiction and on Amazon they sell a life sized standee that I have wanted for years for my office. It's only $100 Cnd (57 Gbp) so it may not seem like a luxury item to most people but to me it is. Can't justify that much for something that would just be standing there at this point in my life no matter how happy it'd make me.
Another great walk Cool Dude! My luxury item would be an old VW campervan but one that's been converted to be an electric campervan, to take on adventures.
Those are sparrows. We have an Appledore in the US. It is an island in the Isles of Shoals. And the painter, Childe Hassam stayed there and painted the island during the late 1800s. These days there is Marine Lab there for run by Cornell and UNH. You can't stay there, but you can get a tour of it. You can stay on Star Island which is across the Gosport Harbor (yes, we couldn't come up with our own names for things.) Let me know if you ever visit, because I can give you the ghost tour of Star Island. Star is beautiful rock with some buildings on it. So to get a proper hike, one has to walk around it several times, but we make up for that we LOTS of ghost stories. Appledore is a bigger island but to serve the purpose of it being a Marine Lab, much of the island has been left to rewild itself so the biology people can study it.
For luxury item I'd love an observatory (you did say spare no expense), be great to look at a different part of the universe each night. A good app for identifying birds is Merlin Bird ID, you just let it use the mic and it gives you a realtime read out of all the birds it can identify, can be quite addictive!!
Standing on the bridge in the Dodnor Nature Reserve you can look down on ducks, Coots and Moorhens and see shoals of fish moving around often with a Little Egret after them and many marshland birds like Warblers and Buntings are to be seen in the area also, while Long Tailed tits are very common there, and you can look across to the Medina nearby, the bridge is a great viewpoint to watch wildlife.....and you call it "boring".
I was saying the walk was boring in comparison with other walks as it was just along a straight cement path. I did not say the view from that bridge is boring. Also the tone of the video is was that I was winding up Rowan. Obviously you have taken it the wrong way. If you watched any of my other videos you would know I find wildlife interesting.
@@cdwc Had you turned right before getting to the bridge it would have taken you to the Dodnor Causeway beside the Medina River and then led you back to the cycle track. I passed over the bridge a few days ago and there was so much wildlife activity going on, but the nature reserve in the middle of winter is pretty bleak and lifeless, which was when you and Rowan went there. I'll shut up now, lol.
If I had all the money in the world I'd buy you your fancy camera... then keep it for myself and taunt you with it until you admit you like pigeons. Then I'd let you have it, slightly used. Mainly because the crap camera from the club is extremely crap and its ruining my photos of Urban Decay... and my day.
There certainly is a housing crisis in north devon, as with alot of coastal communities, exasperated by the likes of air B&B( as second homes are turned in to air B&B's), I'd urge you in future to use hotels or B&B..hope you enjoyed your stay
Wonderful walk, amazing coast and wide sandy beach! The wind definitely gets in the way of peaceful painting. Glad you found an amazing sheltered spot. One expensive thing would be a campervan as then would have own home/ vehicle, and to visit awesome places. Or smaller portable option, a decent camera for taking wildlife pics. Thanks for sharing Marek :)
Lovely walk, shame about the summer we’re having! Luxury item… I would say a really beautiful desk with plenty of room for all my art supplies. This weekend we visited the Raymond Briggs exhibition in Ditchling near where he lived, and they have his actual desk on display. Gave my heart a jolt to see the photos of his parents and first wife who all sadly died in the mid 70s.
in terms of the paranormal i heard my name being called once when only my mum was in on the other side of the house. wasnt her and never happened again but my family always got bad vibes from the house and sometimes mentioned shadows and the like.
Clearly I’d want a wangbuster 4000 with a super intruder lens! In real life though, I think I’d like a Linhof master technica camera and all the bits required to make it work (lenses, lens boards, grip, fresnel lens, viewfinder, etc…).
Luxury item? I had one of the first digital watches back in the late 70s - you had to press a button for it to display the time. It was branded with Star Wars logo. I think I'd like to own that watch again. Never seen one in the wild since.
The Lord of the Rings 1978 film directed by Ralph Bakshi should be counted amongst one's possessions and enjoyed by all and sundry. I have a small but mighty 2009 4x4 Ford Ranger supercab which's in stunning condition for His age and, indeed, three fine folks have asked me if He's for sale which He isn't, anyway, I would love to spare no expense on His restoration to minty condition. I am not into vehicles, really, nevertheless, I love my truck AND it's practical for where I live live and-so-on. HOLY COW! The Greenman doll was stunning!
Always a treat to see a cool dudes video pop up whilst I'm working! Lovely views. Luxury item(s) - a Condor or Ellis Briggs custom made bicycle or a custom made bow for my beautiful booming double bass 🎻
Definitely agree about the weather, it's been very weird and changeable for ages! As for a luxury item, I've already spent more than is probably sensible this week on wooden jigsaw puzzles, so probably another one of those. Maybe a custom hand-cut one (those can be exceedingly pricey!). Having said that, if it's within the rules, and money is no object, what I really want/need is a house to put them in...
There's always one.... Loving the hatAnd I made it through to the Orchard The skies & vistas across the estuary were fab☁⛅. All good as always Marek. x J x
Cooldude Zoe used her app, says baby starlings. You need our senior walking mate Kev an absolute legend with the bird songs. He's been identifying birds for 7o+ years, and he walks faster than the rest of us. Luxury item a Mk IX Spitfire that i could fly. No laces on this walk.
