What is kittyhawk? I didnt see how you invoked it or how it relates to mp sim. What i'm looking for this sim to do is simulate my heewing t-1 vtol using my pocket controller in free flight. Just like in reality outside. I want make sure the parameters in my t-1 vtol will work properly without crashing again during transition to fw flight.
Are there any alternatives? I'm using Ardupilot in a plane, but I'm really dissatisfied with Mission Planner. It might be some of the slowest software I've ever used

Hey, we use mission planner for our hydrone boat. We were working right next to a high security air field. Every time we tried to run a mission it would disarm our auto nav box. Have you heard of anything like this. Thanks

I have a doubt while creating the auto waypoints in the grid its showing the waypoint numbers only even numbers like 2,4,6,8,10,12 in my mission planner if select the spiral grid in grid options then its showing waypoint numbers normally as 1,2,3,4,5 ,6,7,8,9 what might be the issue please help me to sort it out

Hello. could you kindly tell me if there is a way to adjust dead band like there is in betaflight. I've been discouraged from using my APM because of drifting and I know it could be corrected but no matter how much research I do I can't find a way to set dead band in mission planner
I believe the placement of the antenna for you X8R receiver is suboptimal (seen at 1:13) The FrSky RX uses a pair of antenna as the receiver contains signal quality software that allows it to use which ever antenna it believes has the better signal. Ideally you want the antennas to be 90° to one another, one vertical and the other horizontal. This will allow the highest quality signal irrespective of aircraft orientation, or angle to the Tx. Other than that it's an excellent video, thanks!

I'm new to Pixhawk, Mission Planner and VTOL but I'm a quick learner. My MP default for Flight Planning does not have the "VTOL_TAKEOFF", "VTOL_LAND" or "DO_VTOL_TRANSITION" options in the Command drop down list. How are these items added?
Im looking for the same thing. It seems that if you are connected to your drone, and if this is config as a quadplane, it does give you this option in MP. Bit 1 and 2 seem to imply that the default take off and landing is VTOL: ardupilot.org/plane/docs/quadplane-parameters.html?highlight=vtol_takeoff
