Unless you BLOODY armor a LV 100+ Claude OPERA BOWMAN party that Desert GOLEM/Robot boss in this video is NOT really killable even on EARTH mode at max lv 255 it will likely still do 9999 PER hit killing anyone instantly WITHOUT Bloody armor abuse. Celine Ashton Precis Noel Leon Welch still SUCK.
Ashton is the strongest late game character by far , levi sword + angel band , ashton has the fastest basic attack for levi users and 3rd strongest mid game only out classed by eternal sphere Claude and crimson Diablos dias , at least in the og.Ashton admittedly is weak early , but is the fastest to kill the uber boss's
Ashton is PURE CRAP BEFORE HP drain weapons OPERA with Healing Star MUST be 1 of your bloody armor USERS and on the PS1/PSP version Opera STILL must be 1 of your bloody armor users and Ashton IS still PURE CRAP.
Beginner here. After watching this while playing the game, I didn’t think this video was that complicated. Rather, I came to understand the game is designed for you to see what abilities you can abuse to get yourself ahead, instead of just grinding random encounters. There are a lot of options in the game, so I think this tutorial really does give a synopsis of what you could be doing early on to open up your options.
I would offer that after Determination, Purity would be a great choice as it directly gives you money! The only time you need/want money is at the start. It loses its usefulness as you get closer to mid-game as you have lots more ways to make money.
Hmmm...I personally like to save my SP early on. Because Master Chef can be unlocked immediately, I tend to go that route (Nectars) to get money instead of Purity, BUT to each their own!
Please create more tips like best party setup when using claude/rena. Tips categorized as early, mid game, late game. Skills guide and recommendations.
Nice. I used to create flameswords and sell them. Broadsword 400fol and ruby 400 Fol and sell the flamesword for 1,3k Fol. But I like your methode more
Only because Fountain Pens don't become available until getting to Harley. I tried to place things in chronological order from when you can first complete things Determination > Master Chef (money) > Enlightenment (more SP) > Writing (fast skill levels) Ideally, by the 2nd continent, Writing is the main priority early on!
This game is absolutely kicking my ass. I just got to the Laceur area and the enemies are mad hard even on the easiest difficulty. But I think maybe I've been going about spending my SP all the wrong ways...
I would SPECIFICALLY focus on Determination and writing FIRST as those two combined seem to be the most efficient use of your SP earned, even if not the fastest way to start rapidly earning SP. the skill books don't take level of the skill into account other than just KNOWING that skill so you can put 10 into writing (not terribly expensive compared to almost all the other skills) and then spread ONE point across a handful of the skills from the other characters to quickly get everyone up to lvl 7 on on the skills.
@@JRPG-Mickey So you can get fountain pens before Harley, but it's not easy. You have to get to level 5 familar with pet food gotten from bugbear, which drops them rarely. You can also get to level 7 and need only 1 pet food. Going to Harley does make this easier, because you can get pickpocket and steal the only pet food from a child in Sliva. Then use a level 7 familar. And you can't get fountain pens in Harley until you leave it on a boat.
But you also can't BUY Pet foods either those are first buyable in Linga on the 2nd continent either and while you COULD have Goodie boxes give out RANDOM Pet foods to even use Familiar you still better off getting +1000 Attack WEAPONS out of those. The Pet food item drop not worth it.
@@veghesther3204 Fishing Lv7 or Familiar Lv7, idiot. Sashimi+Bodyguard = infinite early SP. Also, Goldie Boxes can be created with Lv 4 Art infinitely now. Lastly, BLOODY HELMET BOIIIIII!!!!!!!!!
How do you deal with running out of MP? My AI party members just spam all their skills until they run out and they just stand there doing nothing after they use up all MP, no matter what tactics I set them too. Either that or they just do the purely melee, no skills strategy
You can't even farm the nectar early without a keen kitchen knife. You gotta let us know where to find it, can't even combine food yet. I don't want to steal it in Salva. Now I have to restart my file because I wasted sp in cooking.
I was only after a simple "good to know" tips video for the game and instead I got this... A video on how to break the game by removing the challenges and such, catered towards people who has already completed the game... I would not call this a beginner video. I will follow the bit about the IC/Specialty skills section a little since it is overwhelming but I will abstain from breaking the challenge of the game.
I love when new SO2 players start this game, think "oh, this is way too hard" on basic Galaxy difficulty just because of a few selective fights. If only they knew how INSANELY simple it was to trivialize all encounters in this game... 😂
Well, i guess star ocean 3, when i was in highschool when i bought the game at a random street fair for like $10 in 2011 was well worth buying to understand how broken IC's are... Didnt even need a guide to randomly fall into gettkng claude's best sword o-o... Ive been honestly over grinding SP and im not even at some weird armory contest(? Like, is that a colosseum event?)... I think that was the next thing i had to do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i dunno... It feels weird basically being almost level 100 when i dont even know who the main antagonist of this game is yet...
Why does anybody buy a new game to immediately exploit it, get overpowered and coast through it like its nothing?. Do people want this nowadays? . Video needs renaming,, theres a difference betwen beginner tips ( ie-combat tips, mechanics the game doesnt explain very well) and game breaking ways to farm xp and gold untill whats the point, just oneshot all until you fall asleep.
Why are the tips and tricks videos only about being overpowered early on and throughout the game? I want to enjoy the game and I’ll save these tips on being overpowered for my second playthrough with Reina
This game goes from way too easy, to your party getting wiped out in one hit. I guess they couldn't fit any balance in the remake? I'll have to fish this game out of the trash and try these tips out.
I still had the POST game bosses on Earth mode at max lv 255 still do 9999 PER hit so I still had to Bloody armor Claude OPERA Chisato Dias/Bowman then. The red Raid bosses will still do 9999 PER hit at lv 255 as well so if you actually want to KILL the one in the Desert next to the Lasguss mountains like BEFORE entering Cross Cave at the start of the game first SOLO lv Claude WITH the Marvel Sword itself TO lv 100 on the Lasguss mountains Bloody armor Beserk Ring and Ring of Might Claude. Both those rings can still be made BEFORE you get rid of the useless Celine In Cross Cave itself and so CAN the bloody armors since the Damascus needed to make it CAN be dropped by at least 1 of the Desert enemies.
