Castelry Rock Honour Guard + Champion of the Faith attachment... Tears. Also a thought on this update. It's just more consistent. Everything just feels more consistent. Did away with some of the 'all or nothing' triggers like on Sword in the Darkness. It's a good wee update and I am excited to play ASOIAF

Another new format? I like the speeding up, but liked the old seeing units and tactics boards. Still great, but Vic is a good match up for Dragons. "Well played". "Not really" 🤣
Watched this last week but couldn't comment as it was on a telly in an air BnB... Great battle reports, like the new set up but to be honest couldn't remember what Ep 1 looked like, so all good. Also, I really enjoy watching Karl so much, must be all the impending bonfires on teh run up to Nov 5th Ah, such pleasant memories it brings back...

A little unrelated to this particular video, but are you guys still planning on doing more faction overview videos? My partner picked up Greyjoys and I learned what I know about my faction I play from your video on Baratheons. Would love to see the Greyjoys and the other factions without a video so far soon
Animal welfare may have an issue with it I agree! Maybe they could be metal antlers rather than real antlers? Could be cool to paint them in bronze to add some contrast to the metallics?
Congratulations on the new format. It looks very professional. If you were to cut back on anything, you might consider doing without the pre-match analysis and instead just go right to the armies ready to play.
Thanks Randall, We'll definitely consider this. As it stands, i think it just needs some tweaking to make work? I'd like it to be fleshed out with game plans and strategies ideally. That's also important for us to recognise what our viewers want, that's why we put the timestamps in the description so people can just checkout the bits they want.

Thankyou! We'll continue to edit in this format going forward. Karl's a trooper sticking to Boltons. They can be really enjoyable when things go well. Definitely worth thinking about the blackguard swap. I think Karl was just trying to hard counter "Harsh Punishments" with the Glory Seeker. Steve does need to paint his stuff! He's a great painter as well, he treated me to a peek of his new Martells last week. They're looking amazing!

I'd really like to see one of these videos for Greyjoys soon. Just got into the game with my partner, and they picked up Greyjoys while I got Baratheons. The Baratheon video helped me, I'd imagine a greyjoy one would help him
I feel like the gameplay window could be just a little bit bigger, maybe give it some of the space from the dice and score windows. And while you do go over the lists at the start (which I like) I think it would also be nice to have the lists available in the description so we can check on them at any time during the game to doubble check whats what.
@@rallis3937 during charge you pivot and go in straight line until you touch enemy tray. Then you can position yourself in correct arch 50/50, 100% or as close to 100% if neither is an option. You can clearly see that NW unit would definitely go through forest during that charge with that angle which they pivotted first. NW player OF COURSE picked up the tray to "avoid" that, but still it should be a charge which narrowly go through the forest.
@@Powerslave18 I know how charging works, I just disagreed on it obviously passing through the forest. Lookin closer at it now, I do think you're techincally right, but at the same time it also seems like he could have pivoted just slightly and have a same distance charge that doesnt touch the forest so I don't think it's really a big deal.
@@Powerslave18actually the angle avoided the forest and the reckless heroism meant that I could pivot to avoid the forest entirely to engage at the 50/50 point which was further along.
Karl could pivot to avoid the forest. In future we’ll make sure to show all of the actions clearly so to avoid confusion. We did this for most of the report but this seems to own where we’ve slipped.
My thoughts: 1- I generally always try to have a cav unit in my army. And try this doubly hard when playing Martell. (Outriders FTW!) 2- Dune Vipers; the trouble with these is that you need more field drops (units) to make the 'gang-up' effective. And 5 units means effectively 2 NCU's. which is a handicap for most armies but a heftier one for Martell. Just my 2 cts: Peace. And happy wargaming.
It’s quality over quantity with units they can go with. Half the Lannister units make me want to go to sleep. Plus one or two free attachments? How could anyone call Bolton weak?
Boltons need an aggressive attack unit. Double-bladed axemen would be neat because no faction has them yet. Maybe with the sidearm of a blade of some sort.
I always enjoy playing Rattleshirt as NCU. But he is either a winner either wiped out during his first fight :( Didn't you forget the first "Fueled by fear"? Why did you send Styrr on the left wing? Isn't it crippling for his long/short range cards? No Trappers, how refreshing. Isn't it too weird playing without them ? Difficult to say anything about the efficiency of the list as your opponent helpt a lot wiith all his unlucky rolls :) Did you experiment this list during other games?
