I’ve had some good success with Kevan in Redcloaks built around the extra attacks in redcloaks for extra panic tests, High Sparrow NCU for on demand healing pretty much, and mountains men being both the hammer and anvil unit right next to them. My turn as first player is to grab crowns with High Sparrow, charge with redcloaks due to Kevan, but before that do a panic test on the unit engaged with Mountains men. Mountains men heal if they fail the panic, I can heal either unit with HS influence and still can use Redcloaks again later. If my opponent takes crowns first I have Joff grab the swords and just trade high sparrow healing for +1 wound. Played several games with it so far in a local league and almost won the league.
Some awesome combos going on here Matt. This is what I love about the game, working out the synergies and getting it right on the board is so satisfying!
@@br7693t that is their weakness, they can die quick. I try and use cards like bribery to keep them alive. Against high morale like Unsullied or Nightswatch I have another list of Adam Marbrand or Jaime or someone like that.
Brand new player. Picked up the Lannisters and this video helped. I have a ton of trouble dealing with the dragons in Targaryans. Any suggestions on how to take them on?
Great series - another quick question if an ability does not allow defence dice eg giant spear thrower can ability like hardened or battleprayer block hits as says after defence dice rolled and there were none ?
I don’t have the giant spear thrower in front of me but I think they do auto wounds and can’t be blocked. Things like pyromancers and the mountain that rides are blocked because you never skip steps in resolution. Even tho you don’t actually roll dice you still follow that step.
Couple mistakes to correct. Qyburn and whispered threats is 4 tokens. Roose and Lanny base deck plus qyburn is 7 instances of tactics board manipulation.
