If your back door is not locking, unlocking or the handle is getting stuck this is a fast and easy fix for you. Will work also on other Toyota and Lexus products (gx460, gx470, 4runner, Sequoia and more)
You need to do the same process while the door is closed from the inside of your trunk. Open the back window before you start the process it will be a lot easier.
If your handle goes back into place every single time you let go then that is not your problem. search for; FJ Cruiser Door Lock Actuator Motor, it is a known problem and they should fix it.
