Great to have you back. Always miss your vids went you’re on a break. Looking forward to all the decisions you make with new fish and further corals, Have loved all the incarnations of your tanks over the years .,, You’re incredibly relaxing to listen to. its like therapy watching your vids 😉👍🏼
Thank you! Yeah it has been quite a long break because of the move and setting up the new tank (also, newborns take up so much time!). Thanks for your appreciation, it's good to know there are people like yourself that are following the journey! Cheers :)
Hello again! Some lovely corals there and the pink one for your first year anniversary(congrats by the way) beats paper any day.I think your wife has good taste as those clown fish are so cute.Looking forward to the continuing journey of your reef tank and updates.
I just put this fish in my tank and I noticed that it is extremely shy, my tangs usually harass it and it spends its time in a corner without moving, it hasn't eaten anything yet.
People always say never put shrooms in your tank unless they are off on their own island and even then no disco because they come loose easy and float around and multiply and take over your tank! How have you prevent this? I have never had any problems with my yumas or rhodactis but I want to add some disos! lOVE YOUR TANK! yOU HAVE BEEN A HUGE INSPIARTION TO ME GETTING INTO THE HOBBY!
Hiya! Haha well in theory yes, they could release and float to other areas, but I wouldn't be too worried about this since discos aren't very invasive and nice to watch :)
"My fish are the living proof that you dont have to feed them several times a day". Seconds later, I lost 2 out of 5 (40%) over a year" Sometimes these videos have actually great advise as long as one does exactly the opposite than the expert 😂
I miss my 425xl, I down graded to a 300 and it’s not the same. Sump is very small and the sump has no divider to keep electric equipment separate. I should’ve just bought the 425🤦🏻♂️
Thank you for sharing your expirience with this light. I used it now since 3 Months and didnt find the right settings for my LPS/Softcorals. So i tried your profile and now the corals benefit from the settings.
All the best. I’m only 6 months into the hobby. Just got myself a 425G2. It’s still cycling on the side. Thanks for all the content. Looking forward for the reboot series.
I was wondering where you were 🤔 .I have a idea ? Let's put some Wheels under the tank for the next move😂 just kidding. I like what you said makes a lot of sense, that is to cycle without sand . It's something ppl should do so the ugly fase won't stay in the substrate. Great tip. Glad your back Dutch.🐟💜✌
Lovely to have you back, looking forward to following you on this new reefing journey. Love your cat - is he a Siberian Forest Cat. I have a Siberian and yours looks a lot like my cat..😻
