He got caught in the tide internationally for those of you that don't know. Its so comedy. This guy is a pro. Not saying hes safe in the water but he has experience.
This video not only explained riptides but put it into practice. The panic didn't last long and your instincts kicked in quickly. I love this video because it's real and a great example of how to deal with it.
I never knew what a rip current could do to a swimmer until one day when I was in my early sixties, I was out in the water about waist deep when all of the sudden I noticed the water reached up to my neck and the nest thing I lost my balance and my feet couldn’t touch the sand. I remember very vividly that my legs felt cold water and a crazy thought came into my mind that at any moment now a shark would come up to take a big bite out of my legs or…even half of my body (I’m only 5’ 2”)!!! I was very scared and in my mind I cried out to God to help me. I tried so hard to swim back to shore but I felt like I wasn’t moving at all. Out of the blue I saw a man standing on the shore waving his hands to get my attention. He pointed me swim to his left. I started to swim as hard as I could until I ran out of breath and was absolutely exhausted. Right away I knew I was in deeper trouble and I had to pace myself. And so I decided to just float on the surface and do a few dog paddling. Even though I was still far from the shore, I remember seeing the gentle in-coming waves moving toward the beach and at that moment I knew that I can flow back to shore with the waves. I started to swim as fast as I could toward the beach and as soon as I felt the waves crashing down and my feet could touch the sand, I just dropped down and rest. From that day on I only go out in to the water at knee deep or less….more like waddling in a kiddy pool! 😂
*Excellent video man. Sorry you lost your glasses, but there’s a good chance that this video will save someone’s life. And that definitely deserves respect. Thank you.*
Even in Italy Italians scam white English speaking foreigners (& Italians are also whites) therefore its not out of this world that such happens in countries where the locals are not whites
@@Jim-Andrews-Thailand well Jim, it’s 5c here at the moment, our winter, just woke up for a pee! I’m looking forward to Hua Hin early next year. Cheers Frank
Good vid to show the cup scam and the lookout...but I am amazed you fell for one of the biggest scams in London....it is called the Heathrow Express ... Depending on when you filmed this you should have taken the Elizabeth Line to Heathrow...a lot cheaper and a reasonable journey time... When did you film this?
Thanks Sammy. Just care free fun blasted by the waves, but educating people about the dangers of the sea. It did freak me out just for a few seconds! All the best!
I wanted a toy car and it was between mk2 & mk3. But the mk3 won easily due to the way it drives, simples. There is luggage space behind rear seats that you didn’t mention. The prices are now rising so unlikely to get a car like that for what you paid. Very easy to work to. Just make sure you check for rust on sills & rear cross members. Surface rust easy to deal with. MR2 owners club very helpful with information.
Yes very happy with it, lovely car and inspected for rust regularly. Rear subframe totally clear. I also own a MK2 Rev 5 which I love to bits, but rust is a major problem on these, constant battle. My ultimate goal is a V6 ideally on a Mk 2. Best wishes, Jim
Leaving your luggage with a currency exchange walk in seems like scam, They rip people off with terrible exchange rates. Stealing luggage does not seem above them
