So nice to see Jerry, and Kenan together. His lizards are so beautiful. My favorite are the Sulphur ones. Their color, and the bands are so pretty. Kagen is so good with them. She is so loving, and patient with them. The baby albino's were cute to. He has done so much work with his awesome enclosures, on his fantastic property. That shade cloth works so well to keep the enclosures cool. I hope that he has a lot of good clutches of babies. ❤Monitors. Cindy

It's amazing how far Jerry has come with his new property. Building all those structures in that Florida heat. @@bkm2797 The “Hobbit House” is a clever idea. I’ve seen a number of “turf” structures lately, one large structure at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It’s very ergonomic; climate-control efficient, sustainable living opt.

Home blood-pressure monitors are less than $90. at chain drug stores. After my diagnosis I cured my (high) b/p issues by eating red beets and drinking copious amounts of beet juice. The MD prescribed b/p “medication” made me pass out, literally.

By age six my mom’s “PA mountain-folk” family already served me venison, frog’s legs, turtle soup, squirrel pie (and who knows what) telling me everything was “chicken.” I finally called them out with the hasenpfeffer -aka; rabbit stew. Even NYC kids know chickens don’t have 4 legs. _I felt so betrayed…_

I grew up in North Queensland where eastern taipans and eastern browns were common. We played where there were snakes. We often saw them but knew to try to kill them or catch them. We would stand still and let the snake go where it wanted to be. Respecting the snake meant it respected us. We also got the privilege of seeeing a stunningly beautiful animal.

Did you get to see the Dumerils? They have that copper color like your cayman, Lucifer. If the monitors go through selective breeding for bigger sizes, can you breed to get miniature versions? Jerry has been working so hard, and I am sure Kagan does more than just carry the egg basket. But at the end of the day, look what an amazing place they are building. You and Jerry are showing us how cool it is to live in Florida.😊

I'm so pleased Jerry is settled already, when you think a little over a year ago his Wife wanted to split with him, he lost his old home, had to move, relocated his animals and started all over again. I have a Savanah monitor that would do the same thing and only stick the tip of her tongue out , I found out she wasn’t drinking out the water dish that she would only drink from the spray bottle and that she was dehydrated

Kenan's is way better in my opinion because he builds bigger and more naturalistic enclosures for less animals. Jerry's place is basically a breeding facility.

Canon Lily is the lizard the water monitor that I think would be a good match for slinky he's very calm and passionate I mean a passion passive he's not aggressive should have made me feel food but it's think he's the same way when it comes to food but I think the two of them would make a great pairing for babies if Jerry wants to lone or treat you for like a couple of days until the deed is done and then he could go back she could go back to Jerry where she can then lay the eggs and he can incubate them and you get half and he gets half and we'll finally see slinky babies come on please you guys get it together I mean if you have to curious to pay you a stud fee for slinky I don't know

I have a question about animal placement. Would it be better to surround your males with females (like the male @ 27:00) or separate the males from the females until it gets closer to breeding time? I breed crested geckos. I've noticed if I separate the males from the females for awhile, then they pickup a females scent, the males get REAL worked up. Just curious how monitor breeding works. Love the video. Keep up the great educational work ;)

Kenan is a bit scared most of the time, approaching with his fist and rapid movements back when something happens. Monitors will sense this and act accordingly
