Hey guys, my name is Julia and I am a former division 1 collegiate gymnast as well as a current certified personal trainer. I am extremely passionate about health & fitness and I love helping people reach their goals. I thought I'd create this channel to help educate people about the importance of physical activity and to make fitness more accessible, simple, and enjoyable for everyone. Hope you all enjoy!
As someone who struggles with food noise, I really admired how you went about your day of eating. You seemed to do it without overthinking or any guilt. You just ate while still caring for yourself. Inspiring.
Ooph I have used your discount code a bunch of times and always sent there site over when people as for active wear, I feel like stackable codes entice me to shop . Not a comment for you but their marketing :) love the clothes ❤
I'm so mad about the discontinued discount code! I held back on buying some items 😭 Can't tell you how many of your crzyoga hauls I've watched to decide what to get lol
5:30 min- I can relate, thank you for saying this! Had no idea what the solution was, new to weight training. 6:00 min- SOLUTION 😀 10:30 min- Looking and feeling like a happy healthy, glowing, beautiful mermaid🧜🏼♀ 11:00 min- 🤔 I did tracking, EVERYTHING for 2.2 months, dropped that. I just crave carbs, my daily calories are like the tide. Trying now to increase protein and trying powder. I put it in Rice Krispies treats 😆 13:00 min Julia, you are a PRO- cut, bulk, maintain phases. I find it hard to adjust portions, especially eating fresh whole foods. I eat more, my family sometimes eats with me, I don't want waste.
Hey Julia, may I ask what/ if anything happened when you began intuitive eating and started eating more carbs and a bit less protein? Did your weight change at all? Also when you were tracking, how did you learn about carbohydrate portions and learnt what visually looked like a healthy portion? X
Watching this late but thx for your dedication making these videos. I don’t know if I’m a minority in your viewers but I’m twice your age (time flies) and it’s soooo hard for women to build and even maintain muscle as you get older.
How do you set your watch like you said you don't want to get interrupted by your watch telling about sets? I just got this watch Garmin Venu 3s I use to have a fit bit watch.
Honestly, seeing variations of the same things over and over and over is a GREAT reminder that things don’t have to be complicated and new and interesting recipes every meal. I binged your FDOE videos when I found your channel a little bit ago and they certainly aren’t super boring even if it’s all based around the same things. It’s just super realistic.
girl i do the same exact thing. I lost 30 pounds the last year and people think i did sprints and crazy Hiit cardio… im like not once did i do any of that!! The hour long 3 mile walk everyday was everything for me. Only strength train 3 days a week, 3-4 exercises, but heavy and progressive overload. Very chill tho. And i’ve seen the best progress!! Also any podcast recs?❤
I just purchased your build program a few days ago and I’m loving it :) I also wanted to give you a shout out for the fact that your workout videos and reels are truly about fitness and not sexualizing your body and I really appreciate that! I felt like any workout video I found on Pinterest was so sexualized especially glute workouts and I just really appreciate even the fact you have shorts that cover you when you do squats and the angles you film at. I’m sure it would give you more views/ money if you compromised on that and I just want to tell you that the fact you truly are a fitness lover and not making inappropriate videos of yourself working out is the reason I follow and purchased your program :) happy to support you and excited to get results!
Either! That’s why they have different color options and sizes! I have the 3S! S means small I think, it’s the ivory and gold smaller option, 41mm! My dad has the all black larger size 44mm!
It’s always great to hear about oldies but goodies because sticking to tried and true is better than following trends. I think you’ve shown a pair of high-rise dolphin shorts before. If so, why do you prefer the mid-rise, is the rise simply too high for your preference (how much higher is it) or does it fit differently?
@@foggybottomz the mid rise were the first style they ever released when it came to the dolphin lined shorts and I just love them so much, they sit at such a nice spot on my torso and they have the longer 4” inseam! It totally might just be a “my body” thing because I know some people prefer the high rise with the 3” inseam! I truly love them both and wear them both but i definitely own more mid rise!!
@@LAboud423 yes!!! On the same dates (July 16-17) they’re doing 15% off site wide with some products being marked 20-50% off!! Also, my code works on top of all sales!!!!!🫢happy shopping!!!!!
New subscriber as of last week and I have been binge watching all of your videos. You seem so genuine and are so knowledgeable. Thank you for sharing what you love and making an impact 🫶🏼🥰
Julia, I'm a new fan. I really like your down-to-earth approach to weight training. I'm trying to incorporate this into my 40-yo-woman routine. I've seen you use collagen in your smoothies, but have you dropped all other supplements like reds and greens, etc.? My husband was asking if you do creatine, beta alanine, etc...he thinks I should get into those things, but I am all about using my own body to perform. Curious about your approach to supplements now in Phase 6.
Hi! I just downloaded the app. I wanted to do CUT. Is that SHRED in the app? Or are those two separate workouts? And is it a separate purchase outside of the app? Please help 💪🏽
SHRED is basically a CUT 2.0! 1 did CUT in the fall of 2022 (then BUILD in late summer of 2023) and then SHRED in the fall of 2023 leading up to my December 2023 wedding! CUT & SHRED follow the same training split and training style, SHRED just has newer, fresh workouts and slightly more low intensity steady state cardio...so it's a bit more difficult than CUT, that's why I consider it a CUT 2.0!!! I didn't have my app yet when I launched CUT so that's why it's the only program you can't find on my app! But all the programs I've created since launching my app in October of 2023 are on my app and then also available for purchase in PDF format on my website!
I got my mug at Nordstrom rack and I completely forget the brand!!! I am so sorry, I’ll try to find similar ones on Amazon and add them to my storefront!!
did you go to college and learn everything you know? I'm 17 and have struggled with mental/physical health for a really long time and I'm trying to become a personal trainer for mostly my own health at the moment. Also, what kind of equipment/ clothing brands would you recommend for a starting physical trainer?
You are absolutely right. What a game changer for someone (me) that thought the ONLY thing that would burn fat is cardio and HIIT. Wish I had known this long ago. ❤
@@juliamerwin I see. That’s why you have second breakfast. I wake up around that time too but straight to weightlifting because I work 8-5. I usually have 30 minutes walk after work around my house. Love your routine though. :)
Just have to say, I think your Apple Watch was faulty so your cons are extreme haha. The battery life does suck compared to Garmin’s for sure but it shouldn’t die by lunch time. I charge mine for an hour every night before bed and it tracks my sleep all night and all my next day. I’ve never had any issue getting accurate heart rate data from my watch. I really think yours was faulty. BUT having said that I am considering getting a Garmin 😂
As stated, mine was an older generation Apple Watch so I’m sure that played a role! But I had two Apple Watches total and neither could ever find my HR!
