Thanks! I dont remember but its mentioned in the full room tour. The GREATEST Home Theater Demo Room I've EVER Heard | 11.8.6 JTR | MWAVE 2024 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-spw4UshyhQQ.html
Nice video. These Cinemike guys are interesting. Thank you for the coverage. It’s very helpful, especially for those who didn’t attend Mwave. Curious if others felt the black swans were overly bright? I had heard that from a couple folks. I am not sure these would be my first choice for movies but for 2 channel I bet they’re fantastic. Congratulations on the sponsorship of your video by JTR. Always great to see my friend Ray too
This movie was shot in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio so would be severely cropped in an IMAX presentation. That is reason enough to avoid such showings. I saw it in a Dolby theater and the ATMOS height effects were very present throughout the showing. I've never heard of RPX as it doesn't exist where I live. To be honest it sounds like a fraud, and not a real thing. Promotional hype without substance.
@@hatoraidcowboy Fair enough, but I can do that at an IMAX or Dolby theater. I want ideas for MY dedicated room, not a concert hall. It's cool, but wildly impractical.
@@hatoraidcowboy why not reply by telling my how thick the baffle is, or that the cabinet is extensively braced ? Seems to me like your reply does nothing more than prove me right.
🤣🤣 That’s hilarious. You’re talking to me like I’m the one who made the thing. If you want to know about build quality email Nick himself. Seems like you’re already biased though.
Saw in a Dolby Theatre. It was good. I see this one trumping the others just because of the sheer mayhem. It sounded so awesome, and the added but kickers…chefs kiss
@shod81 I bought the center channel first and noticed how much better it sounded than the rest of my system. Then I slowly started upgrading the rest of my speakers.
Ughhh email just now Effective August 15th, we will adjust prices for our 1723 Series speakers and subwoofers by up to 12% depending on currency and models.
There were actually some Atmos effects in the Top Fronts from what I heard in my home theater when Scylla made her first appearance and when Zilla first woke up in the ocean when he sensed her. And when Kong was roaring at Suko off screen I heard it come from the Right Top Rear speaker. There were a few other subtleties too that I noticed with the baby "Moth" dragonfly bug flying above in the Top Fronts then back to the bed layers when the human cast discovered the outer regions of the temple, but overall it wasn't that much Atmos but there definitely were sounds going on above.
I just saw this in a Dolby Cinema last night and it was incredible! You should definitely go see it again at a Dolby Cinema. It will be worth the extra cost.
I think Imax uses their own proprietary audio mix. They only use DTS-X on IMAX Enhanced for home use. I usually prefer Imax audio over Atmos. The trip wire scene from 1917 in IMAX was insane
Hey there. I saw it in Dolby Atmos. It wasn't bad. My friends and I agree with your rating of the film. Can't wait to experience it at home. I will take you up on the IMAX experience soon. Am enjoying your reviews on all things home theater. Keep up the good work!
The problem is, you only made a comparison which might be the result of a poorly managed regal theater at the very least you should report it to the manager of the place and see if they give you any feedback because you said at another location RPX sounded really good on another movie Which leads me to believe that locations RPX theater was just poorly managed because there’s no way that a movie like this is going to sound bad with Dolby Atmos so basically what I’m saying is the video you just made for which format to see it in isn’t correct because you could be judging a poorly managed theater as opposed to the better format now if you went to another regal theater with RPX and it was bad as well that might make more sense anyway thanks for your time making the video
IMAX is the real deal here for movie at my place. It's the only cinema which is able to keep consistent audio quality over all the movies I watched. It never lacks in clarity, bass and dynamic. I have my own home cinema setup which is better than all the standard cinema halls in my city, and IMAX is the only reason and cinema hall that I continue to go to. Sorry, I don't have any Dolby Cinema in my country.
@@hatoraidcowboy We do not have Dolby Cinema in Malaysia but we do have cinema halls labelled with Atmos. My experienced with several Atmos halls over several movies are bad. Flat bass, almost no height activities and overall sounding is soft too.
