I use Hellshock much it's not forgetten it's pretty powerful stronger than superball, grease trap and so, yes, free radical stronger but it is shock and Hellshock can be incendiary and good DPS you can easy Mayhem 11 with Hellshock
Voracious canopy with a commander planetoid artifact equipped is the best method 👍🏼. For old Gen. consoles, either graveward or slaughter shaft for the short load times
Just as you said yourself, some of these things were in fact bugs, glitches and exploits so removing them wasn't nerfing. A nerf happens only if you reduce the effectveness of something that was legit and intended.
Imo the worst nerf in Borderlands history was the writing team nerf that Gearbox put out when Borderlands 3 came out, I love this game to death and play it almost every day but the base game pacing, dialogue and story are ass, I'm glad the DLC were way more well written bc this game deserved better ❤
I can't remember weather it was a nerf, lack of buff, or bad leveling, but I remember the Maggie's being a fantastic pistol until some time that it wasn't. And now I never see anyone running with a Maggie.
Anyone know why my PS4 BL3 disc version 1.0 won't let me save game data offline to my new 256 GB flash (thumb) drive. I just get prompts to go online to PlayStation store.
yeah, agree with all of your points, you're right. by the way, Elementalist is amazing classmod and works properly... on Mayhem 0... try it! problem with the bad scale to Mayhem levels
What I like to do is find a god roll item I would lien to farm from an enemy that also drops eridium. When I get sick of farming that item I do a different farm. This helps me not burn out so fast Note: I use the lower reroll cost mod so it’s 25 instead of 250. Highly recommended as it really opens up build options to test out like terror Anointments
Borderlands 2 is my favorite. Love duoing Digi on OP10 with my buddy or doing Murderlin's Temple on Badass diff. Plus the various repeatable raid bosses is awesome. I also believe Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon Keep is the best DLC in the franchise.
I go to Voracious Canopy on Eden-6 and stay left until I reach the large door with the signs. There's a hidden hole to drop down and get invisible eridium rocks, then I reset by changing mayhem level back and forth from m9 to m10. Don't do m11 because it gives less than m9 does. It's much more efficient.
@PearlSnce I think I may have struggled to get the point across with this video. That's overall my general complaint, every aspect of each piece of gear has gotten too ridiculously rare. I'd much rather have lower drop rates and less variations, than more of both
@@ConstantCanadian ok then so yeah i agree, just didn't come across very well. good video nonetheless, rather see people talking about it than just making memes
Easy fix? Introduce a reroll machine for waepon parts. You're gonna have to find the weapon parts first, sell them to the machine and make em available, similar to car parts.
I do wish the Re-volter was viable with Moze since she is my main. I have a couple double vagabond Old God that I use with Moze, great damage boost and I love the movement speed. Zane and Amara I just use an A.S.S Re-volter, like you say it is the best so why use anything else.
Only saw title searching for sleep video this is too short. No because the maxing means you have to check every legendary to see if it’s viable for mayhem 10/11. Maybe lower base drop rate and increase bonus at mayhem 11 to compensate so drop rates the same or close to same at higher levels but lowered at base.
I am getting old and wish that I could hardcore farm, but I actually don’t mind the spawn rates. I like the idea that I can something I need to help my build easily. That being said my idea of a perfect system would allowing some farming with customizing/crafting like Fallout 4. Like you can farm a legendary base gun, but customize the parts yourself to build the legendary to your needed specs. Which could also make lower ranking guns valuable as you can disassemble them to get material to craft parts to go into the legendary you farmed. Just an idea.
last time some one told me to go get some sand hawks from katagawa jr it was meant as a advise for starters lmao had no clue it can top all the snipers there are
I am not very good at endgame stuff in any Borderlands game. Anointments were confusing to me until I played Moze and got the anoinment that boosted Iron Bear railgun damage by 150%. Combined with the class mod that extends iron bear time, I can now breeze through mayhem 11. Most story bosses are 2-3 shots to take down. The only exception are those with the annoying invulnerability moments where you have to wait until they can be hurt again. But Graveward, for example, I can usually take out during or immediately after the first time he tilts the floor and sends those acid balls. The fight takes seconds. And if I really want it to be stupid, I set mayhem 10 and re-roll until I have a lootsplosion on top. That way, I can just headshot any enemy, causing a lootsplosion due to critical kill, and the floor is so covered with legendary loot I don't even bother picking it up anymore. Once that happened, I stopped playing because it felt like I had found a cheat code that ruined the game for me. Too much and too little is never good, but finding that balance for all players is impossible. Some people will love that it rains loot, while others want the dopamine hit of finally getting that legendary drop. I think biggest issue with BL3 endgame is the balance between the classes. Moze, for example, is so easy to play that it gets boring.
i wouldn't mind drop rates between BL2 & BL3, or make them more rare but only make the items great: no elementalists, ten gallons, warlords, etc etc. they need to eliminate many of the useless passives & anointments; they can do away with at least a third of both. keep the reroll machine & add in the grinder for BL4. i loved the grinder, it was a great way to deal with all the trash
This is pretty much what I'm thinking. Having variable passives on Class mods isn't bad, but every manufacturer having 3 different passives is crazy. Imo Borderlands 3 just made too many unique weapons for 1 game (more than the other 3 combined) that's why we have so many ten gallons and warlords
Half the legendaries in BL3 should have been just blue uniques. Too many class mod and relic variants and stats. Its a different kind of grind for sure. But atleast in BL2 less drops but you wont be sifting through every orange item you see just to realize theyre just trash world drops. To each their own. Imo farming for almost perfect gear was harder in BL3. But that’s just me.
Yea, I did a whole video about how many guns there were in BL3 over 300 weapons, 25% of which suck ass and another 25% of which are just repeats/reskins
From my experience recently. I've been trying to "finish" bl3 by getting a perfect set of gear for my gun master zane build. The main class mod im using is the executor. I've found that it's actually faster (and more lucrative gear wise) to just farm graveward with the schlooter over and over again than actually farming the class mod's dedicated drop. Ive actually seen a faster drop rate from GW than from the drop in meridian metroplex and Im pretty sure the only other drop is a "garaunteed" drop from the final boss of one of the takedowns, which ultimately takes about 10-20 minutes at a minimum and I get executors faster from graveward.
Yeah, I've been farming a red fang for my gamma fl4k, the only drop source for it is world drops and the tyrant of instinct (50%). Every time it drops its got the most useless passives, so exhausting. Much preferred farming for tubbies in BL2, at least if I got a bad roll, it still gave me something helpful for my build
no wonder then that I can spend hours upon hours farmin something that I can repeat (sometimes) several times per minute AND still don't get what I'm after. And i'm not even talking bout Dog Rolls smh. 😖
As someone doesnt have time to play besides weekends i enjoy bl3 over bl2 simply because im not farming for 6hrs for 1 gun and not even going to mention trying to get a god roll in bl2. Atleast in bl3 i can farm for 1-2hrs and get what i want and then some. It might not be a god roll but atleast i got it. If you want to farm then farm god rolls. Took me 2 days just to get decent plasma coil not even a god roll.
Good weapons have low drop rates. People are complaining about getting gubs for the whole game as a comparison weapon to bl2. Also, bl1 legendaries are NOT rare, so most of borderlands have more common legendaries.
Drop rates are a bit high but who is using the barrage at end game! Think bl2 was way too low. Played so many times without getting a single legendary until uvhm!
Thank you! The class mod and relic system is terrible in 3. Like I was trying to get a good hustler class mod for an eraser Zane. Splash damage, splash radius, heavy damage all would be good. so why the hell would I want one with fire resistance or Dahl reload speed or some crap? Its was so ridiculous that I eventually gave up and just inventory edited one in; something I never even considered doing in bl2
