so heres a question do you think Frostpunk 2 would be viewed better if it was presented as a Spin off instead of being presented as Frostpunk 2 the sequel to Frostpunk 1 ? Another game that can be used for example like how Halo 3 Odst is considered a spin off.
Calgar makes sense, he knows Titus and yk the entire second company? its kinda important to the ultramarines Choas is more important then nids, so Lieutenant Titus went to go fight them having a lot of senior experience with it the story doesn’t tell you directly about the nids but operations which are directly connected the to story literally have 2 missions where we see the space marines answer the nid threat on Averax and Kodaku i assume charon had angery ptsd and decided to only go angry once and not again bc um, his commanding officer was pissed ? and your right i would love to hear more about him being 10k years old and such but i don’t think the writers wanted to give it extra effort the sorcerer dude I would’ve loved more info on
18:00 If you play the campaign in coop, it does the really cool Dead Space 3 thing where Imurah will speak to Titus, but the players playing as Chairon and Gadriel won't hear it. Stuff like that made the campaign super enjoyable
When bricky said the game was fast paced and then proceeded to show probably the slowest ghostrunner footage ever I died. I'm not even a speedrunner and I only have 26 hours in the game
That dual wield serum is the dumbest way to introduce dual wielding in any game I've ever seen but wow is it my favourite (much better than a rat giving you a second holster). Consume this random probably untested drug and now you're able to handle a 12 gauge shotgun's recoil with one arm!
Ya know instead of the Doom comparison I was honestly thinking heavily Unreal Tournament with UT2004's double jump added in for gameplay. With a southern USA butter use level of doom thrown in.
I've 100% the game, gone back to do a roguelike playthrough complete with a randomizer for parts/weapons, and find myself pulled back in whenever I see a cool mech, thinking, "Can I build that in AC6?" Here's hoping for a follow up a la For Answer or Verdict Day.
I love how Rafe just goes insane at the end. He's done everything he possibly can over nearly 2 decades to get one load of treasure all the while Nate gets 3 loads accidentally and DECIDES NOT TO KEEP THEM. Granted, it makes sense being as every one would be terrible if it reached the world, but from Rafe's view (not knowing of the dangers), it would be crushing. And then when he's confronting Nate, he's still not wrong: 'Nathan Drake raced a madman and his entire army to the steps of Shambala' 'Nathan Drake found a lost city in the middle of the Rub' al Khali desert' 'Nathan Drake discovered the fabled El Dorado' And then calls him 'legend' before his flurries become ridiculous. And right at the end: 'You just don't know when to give up, do you? That's good. Don't hand it to me. I've had everything handed to me on a goddamn silver platter. Everything except THIS. I earned this.' He has had everything given to him. He wanted to have one thing that he fought to get and actually deserved. And he did deserve Avery's treasure. He lost so much to get there, and then Nathan Drake, infamous for his treasure discoveries, came along and ruined it. It's a brilliant moment, and his descent into insanity certainly makes sense.
i respect what they did with frostpunk 2 and i like some of the changes a lot, but in a weird way i might have been happier if it was more like the first but bigger. I liked how much even a few workers could matter in the first game. in this latest one they are faceless numbers. everything is a little too big. the human-centered perspective becomes blurred. when everything goes from a few hundreds to tens of thousands, etc. + I liked the placement of the individual buildings, how you had to think about where to put them and think about whether there is room, etc. Great Video!
Stories like this, involving time paradoxes and the lack of rules for the universe, anything and everything can happen, are rarely ever good, and even when they are apparently I still just don't get it. It's not entertaining but entertaining stuff does happen.
I've been getting into painting an army, I'm working on a Blood Angels successor chapter right now, but I do find the guard very appealing. I've decided my chapter has about 8,000 non-augmented infantry made from failed aspirants (odd that the aspirants were as old as 40 and about half of them are women, when space marines need to be made from boys about 10-14 years old), who will use guard rules, and will be made of mostly Solar Auxilia models, unless plastic Krieg models come out. Might even look into historical miniatures, I'm not sure, I like the WWI trenchcoat and gas mask look, but I also like the Solar Auxilia look. And I have a fetish for combined arms warfare, so the idea of using a mix of Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Mechanicus, and tanks is very appealing. So I guess my long-term plan is to play Imperium. People don't talk about it much in youtube comment sections, but at least in 8th, you can do that.
33:54 and also a little bit of Australian or Scottish. Cuz you also hear an Australian accent from the snipers. Sometimes even from the shoreline marksmen. The Scottish sounding accent also seems to come from the AK 47 dudes with the grey vest and beanies in the Scotland chapter.
Played it for a total of 5 hours, turning it on and off from time to time. And i gotta say this is the most boring roguelike next to vampire survivors.
I disagree that humanity is high/mid tier evil, their evil deeds are necessitated by the state of the Milky Way galaxy in order for them to survive, although there are obviously some things where they go too far.
you're going on about how Soaps death was mishandled as if he's not gonna come back in war zone season 78. The ashes? nah it was all a ruse to fool the Makarov spies. Why else would Ghost being wearing his stupid fucking skull mask unless he was ready for a potential fight?
Everytime I get back into warhammer I come back to this to see which space marine Legion for me and then I always remember that my favorite is Imperial Fists, I can't not love the yellow boys
The Chaos Gods literally and metaphorically embody the emotions, mindsets, and reactions of humans. The Eldar is a parallel to America-esque societies.
To the newbies who just got into Warhammer lore, The 2nd and 11th Legions and their Primarchs are expunged from existence. Like... lost to the sands of time type of expunged. All records erased, Everyone's memories of them wiped, etc. In lore, there is no precise nor confirmed reason as to how and why they were expunged, but there are a lot of hints, none of which provide a clear answer. However, the real life reason as to why the 2nd and 11th exists as an enigma is because GW allows players to homebrew their own legions, 1 loyalist and 1 traitor.
