Here on this channel I will be posting videos of how I built my own bandsaw mill, helpful tips of things I learn along the way, and other do it your self videos to hopefully encourage people to build useful things as well.
Two Questions if you have time: CV joint boot kit? Have a new suggestion? and Second: What Service Manual do you suggest? Seems dodgy out there ...some so blurry you can't read them! And thanks again... I heard you on subscribing with notifications ... done.
How funny all the negative talk about Chinese bikes?! They clearly don’t know that about 80% of all bike parts come from China! Including KTMs. They should do some research about where the parts that make their Austrian or Japanese bike parts come from. They’re basically just built in the countries they’re based in. And not all the time! Many ‘high end’ branded bikes are built AND assembled in China now. And no, I’m not a communist - just a realist. DYOR!
Japanese motorcycles are great! There is no doubt about that. However while we've been spoiled with Japanese motorcycles from the big 4 for the last 50-60 years, in order to keep up with the demand of India and other countries of Asian descent, that use motorcycles even more than Americans, they had to contract the manufacturing to other countries like China. So China has been making basically licensed copies for those other countries' consumption. With modern cnc manufacturing methods and the fact that China has been purchasing all of our good scrap metal for the last 50 years, they've gotten really good at building quality bikes.
Hi, I’ve been thinking a lot recently about getting one of these trucks . Do you think someone that is 6 foot three like myself could fit in that truck comfortably?
There’s not much comfort in these trucks, but it’s doable for sure. I daily a Honda Acty HA4 and I’m 6’3” 220lbs. So not huge but not tiny. Find one for sale and test drive it but if I can fit you can probably fit too!
Got a 91Suzuki at Japanese auction (dump) will take time to arrive east coast. Your video was great appreciate the bullet points for maintenance ... I assume your 92 will have same as my 91? I live rural and will use for moving lumber, cord wood, manure... but I like a clean machine and will use it on the road for local travel. Pretty psyched. I'm 70. Lived in Japan 2 years in the 80's and drove one all over. Can't wait!
Mike, I would love to see a video of you making custom Dirt Bike racks for you and your brothers Kei's. That would make for an excellent video and also would really be cool to see you take the new chinese bikes out.
Can I ask why people think its better to buy cheap Chinese bikes, have to do all kinds mods and better parts . Rather than buying used Japanese bikes? It's ridiculous, just go on the hunt for used honda, kawasaki, suzuki, yamaha. All my bikes are used Japanese and they cost less that this thing new and all parts, time labor have to put into it make rideable and reliable.
It’s my money and I can buy whatever I like, I have owned well over 30 different Japanese bikes and I wanted to try something different this time. You buy what you like and I will buy what I want, simple as that.
Great vidjao Mike these little buggers are getting quite popular its awesome that you did a deep dive for this information. There at the beginning it was almost like mike festiva live from endor that forest planet in star wars
Another great video! We have a kei truck we use as a little firewood getter and they are super useful! I was wondering if maybe you could make a video or just a write up on your F-250. I remember you talking about it in the video you towed your kei truck home with. I hope you have a great day! -Slipperz
I think you did a very nice job on that build. I appreciate the work you go through in order to supply this content. People like yourself are priceless.
Hey mike i have a couple of questions of the bike that i couldnt seem to find online, im planning on buying this bike and potentially converting it into a supermoto. I couldnt find any information about what the hubs seems to support, or much about the rims and tires about the bike. I was wondering if it was possible if you could share the width of the front and rear tires, and possible clearance issues i could run into with putting thicker street tires, as well as what the front hub of the wheel is. Love the videos about this bike, and seems awesome, cant wait to get my own soon 🙏🧡🧡🧡
Thanks again for a great video Mike! I bought a 91 Acty recently and have been following along as you and your bro kit out your Kei's. Hello from Ontario, CAN! KEEP THE MINI TRUCK VIDEOS COMIN'
Hey man I appreciate your update and love the content! I always like watching your builds and Carry projects can’t wait to see how the cabin is coming keep up the good work man! You inspire a lot of people ! I was happy to see your name dropped on a local mini truck group on FB ! So cool!
Great tips Mike! I did most of that for all the reasons you mentioned. Except.... rear brake shoes, the truck spins out on me if I have to lock up the brakes. Scary stuff. Tried everything I know except the shoes, so 🤞
Basically what Mikie mentioned in this video should be done to any used vehicle one buys that has some miles and or age on them... Better to do the basics now,and have many trouble free miles without any major high cost brake downs because you didn't want to swap out a 30 dollar belt,or a cheap hose,or a few bucks worth of ignition parts... Just the tow bill will cost you more than the replacement parts and labor will BEFORE it breaks...
If I had one of those trucks the first thing i'd do is transplant a 1200 cc goldwing engine trans into it. than i'd put a couple of CRV honda axles in it.
I've got a Kei Van, I've had it for 6 years, In that time I've replaced the tires, checked the coolant and brake fluid, it's a 13 year old Mitsubishi minicab miev EV Kei van. Previously I had an 84 550cc Honda acty van which we drove from Sydney nsw to Adelaide South Australia and back. This is a great video mike.
