Wow this will be my third time seeing this video and I’m always impressed with it kudos I’m trying to make it happen for my Kawasaki mule thanks so much for sharing
Water cooling the welds makes them brittle. It’s better to use compressed air. How a part that experiences high torque you want the welds to be as strong as possible.
I never understood why people wants fake headers ,,, then I paid 800€ for headers, 850€ for slip on, 600€ for installation and tuning by professional … and now I understand …
Anyone who owns a 10th gen civic I got a $30 blanket from Amazon been working good for almost 3 years now no issues with it or my engine. I was skeptical about it but rolled the dice and won to even my own surprise
Did you have any issues with the mid pipe to the headers leaking?? Im on my third set of exhaust clamps and i still get a small leak of air which every now and then triggers my cel. Ive tightened down to the point where bolt snaps and the leak is still there
Does the wheel still self-center after fitting this? I heard the one from the Prius doesn't. I'm guessing if this also doesn't, maybe it needs some kind of controller.
Hey buddy Im looking to mod my head till I do rebuild this winter at which ill do the RK head / gasket… what did you do to the bowl did you take off just some of the roundness so it more like the RK? ( tapered ) What did you use to Remove the material from the bowl. thx
If I were to send my 97cc motor can you upgrade it to a stage 1 with removing the governor and polish and port the head upgrade the carb n jet and update the fly wheel
Ive a africa twin 1100 and that comes with a plank for a seat! I did consider replacing the inners with memory foam and a gel pad! I did some research and apparently the gel hold heat, so on a warm day could be abit too warm!? I was also concerned it may raise the seat hight more!! I decided to get a bagster 2 piece seat, hand made in france!! Reviews were.......not as comfortable as bmw, but not by much! It also has a raised rear seat, so more tourer look! Its £450, 10 week wait, but should be well worth it! 😊 ps, i also have a leo vince, baffle out! Sounds awesome 😅
I love it! 2wheeldynoworks is known for doing things the right way. Many other tuners simply don't have the dyno hours logged and experience these guys do, so i'll stick with 2WDW
It's perfect for my application! At first I thought this rack could be too fast, but with power it's perfect. Follow up is future videos showing how it performs and it's goooooddd 🙌
I'm sure it gave it a little bit more power made it run smoother and attack higher and yes I could be wrong but I highly doubt your modifications doubled the horsepower
If I hit up Traum for the pistons and Pauter for the rods and gave them your specs, would it be any cheaper now to have them made since they've done it before? Also, I don't do builds, but if I were to give my engine builder guy these parts -> block, pistons, rods, and bearings to do the build, would there be anything else he would need (using my same heads, and head gasket, I presume)? Next, if I only have this done and did not do anything else to the engine (like turbocharging) what ballpark hp would I expect? Finally, if I did put in a turbocharger which one would you recommend. If you've already answered any of these in the comments, let me know and I'll look harder. Thanks.
Good questions. The purpose of doing the pistons, rods, bearings etc is for the engine to not come apart under power adders (supercharger/ turbo). If you were to do these mods without a power adder you'd actually loose HP because of the additional weight of the heavy duty parts. If you're looking for just some quick cheap power you can add a small turbo to the stock engine but I wouldn't exceed 10psi on the stock engine. Yes I successfully ran more without any mods but that's a gamble and if it's a daily you risk damaging it. If it's just for fun run it up more 😁
How could you rig this up to the rear axle of a cargo trailer so you could steer the rear axle around corners on a remote control like some heavy haul trucks?
Great video! I just got the exact same bike exact same year. I got a lithium batery, cleaned and lubed the bone dry starter and it worked great. About 25 times now it's back to it's sad old self. Time to upgrade.
What did you do to handle the heat of the engine when closing the deck? I would imagine this limits the fluids capacity to cool this engine properly and I don't believe I have seen you mention how your temperature has changed after closing the deck or what you did you ever come the increase in heat if present.
Great question, cncwerks does a great job of putting coolant passage holes in the same locations of the head gasket so it doesn't block any additional coolant passages. With my radiator i'm able to keep temps under 195F no matter how much boost i'm pushing
Power steering seems totally unnecessary for that little lightweight buggy and makes it look more cluttered, more complex than it needs to be, and worse in my opinion, but I'm glad you did it so we could learn from it.
