This is a channel about games from the past whether they were great, good, OK or proper shit. I take a look at these games and decide if they were pretty impressive for the time or more rushed than a McDonald's order. Of course these are just my opinions and don't count for much, and neither does my game playing abilities. And throughout my time playing these games, it goes to show that quality graphics doesn't necessarily mean good game-play. I love to drop references to 80’s/90’s film and tv in my videos whether it be verbally or visual.
@@classicfromtheattic Yeah but Street Fighter is more normal because it's the 30th. I'm young so I'm used to brands having at least a 20 years. That's why I said it was werid for me to see ten in the Adventure 2 box 😂😂
This is a really great game, running at a solid 20fps unlike Ridge Racer's solid 30fps. There's nothing wrong with the design or the gameplay or music or even graphics. By saying it's not as good as RR is firstly not really the point here. But by looking at it objectively. This is one of the most fun games ever and the port is actually kind of marvelouse.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on this a couple of years ago. The game is even sealed, but the only unfortunate thing is it didn’t come with the soundtrack cd
I absolutely love Alpha Anthology. There's actually another version of SFA called "Hyper Street Fighter Alpha. You have to press and hold the "start" or "select" button and select the first SFA game.
Thanks so much mate this was the only guide that worked for me. It used to work with me on USB/External Drives but nothing worked from a HDD with the use of popstarter.
Really enjoyed that pal. I collect Megadrive games too so it was a proper joy to have a look through your collection as you have some real gems - great to hear your opinions of the games too. Looking forward to looking at the rest of your site.
@@classicfromtheattic Probably a complete copy of Magic Bubble I guess would be the rarest. I'm finding that some of the rarest games are the Genesis ones these days.
Not to sound ungrateful, but why do these mods always require the user to do so many manual steps? Why do you have to create the directories on the USB drive yourself and manually copy the required files to the proper locations? Why isn't there simply an archive that you can unpack to the USB that already has everything you need in the proper locations? And why is the setup on the PS2 also so complicated? Why hasn't anyone put an option into Free McBoot labeled "Auto Setup" that when you select it, automatically performs all the steps required to prep the hard drive and copy over what you need? OK, you need to set a few options, like the partition size, but it could stop and ask you that, then continue on. It's like going back to the days of DOS games where you had to mess around with system files just to get the games to run. I once watched a tutorial for soft-modding a Wii, and there were like 10-20 steps you had to go through.
I agree it’s very primitive, but it is an old system. I packed the files into folders to download from Mega, yet there’s still a process of offloading them. To some this process is part of the fun, but to others (including myself) it can become tedious. Plus this isn’t official Sony software and there are many routes to take and other extra mods to add if required. If it were a modern system and official upgrades then I’m sure it would be a case of pressing a button. But until then we’ll just have to struggle.
Pity that I never had a chance to play Lollipop Chainsaw when I had a working PS3. Luckily, Lollipop Chainsaw is gonna get rereleased on both the PS5 and Switch, so I'll get my chance.
The Game Boy version of the game, Beetlejuice is based on the likenesses from the Beetlejuice animated Saturday morning/weekday afternoon/morning TV cartoon series (itself was based on the 1988 Geffen/Warner Bros. film of the same title) off of whenever it was on ABC/Fox Kids/Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network/The WB 100+ Station Group/METV Toons.
Be mindful that the official build of opl (the latest one) does not support this format of ps1 partitions. 1.20 beta daily build is the latest version that supports ps1 and the format of partion.
Yeah it’s a pain in the ass there’s no support for ps1. That’s why I’ve used an old version. I struggled to find the latest compatible build, so I stuck with this one. There’s too many versions to pickle my brain out there.
@classicfromtheattic doesn't have exfat support but I have no issues with ps1 support. Ps3 jailbroken is probably the best way to experience ps1 games. They work on all models of ps3s
