I have a 2022 forest river Salem 32bhds. It’s like 8400 dry with a 9999gvwr. Gonna be measuring my frame thickness tomorrow and look into possibly bracing inside the frame lol

You can certainly blame the frame manufacturer but if you read your wait distribution hitch manual don't tell you what you should or shouldn't do.

Don't go up steep sudden inclines angling your truck before the trailer with your weight distribution hitch attached.

I will never own any kind of trailer with Lippert axles. I’ve seen 2 spindles break off the axle tube. Do yourself a favor and buy Dexter axles.

I’m curious about your rock sliders! Where did you get the Orange/step on your rock sliders? I have a 2024 ZR2 and would love to have a step for mine and still keep my factory sliders and clearance!

sorry to hear about your problems. Keystone and lippert make junk. The whole frame should actually be 5/16 inch thick like the old trailers. Mine will never break and I have been on extremely rough bush roads with ruts and potholes.

These trailer manufacturers only care about profits. I own a travel trailer, and I have owned two others. The older ones were built sturdy and with better materials. Buyer beware when buying a travel trailer! Look for quality materials.

Thank You for the heads up about the frames. I'm a Newby at this RVing. I opted out of the extended warranty simply because of past experience with extended warranties from auto manufacturers not honoring them. There is always a reason, for them, Not to cover anything it's always your fault. Hope my new 2025 doesn't have any major issues.

Instead of replacing the tongue on my Starlight (Jayco umbrella), would welding 1/4" plate along the existing frame suffice?

I bought a avenger LT trailer and I owned it for two years. I been finding out how cheap most manufacturers are, I've rebuilt most of the items on the inside and after seeing this cause I was getting more information for anti sway kits I now sus and plan on welding up more the trailer frame.

So we just bout a bardn new springdale 1800 bh and everytime it rains water is coming in through the furnace some how. Does anyone else have this problem???
