Hello, My name is Swept. I play a variety of games but mostly Destiny 2 which is what I'll primarily upload to this channel. I don't know what I'll upload regarding D2 but I'll figure it out as content comes out and I get a better understanding of this whole RU-vid thing.
Little bit of Background of my time with Destiny: - I've been playing Destiny since the D1 Beta - I main Titan and occasionally Warlock - Favorite Exotic(s) are the Outbreak Prime from D1 and 1k Voices from D2 - My favorite Raid of all time is easily Wrath of the Machine - I play for fun and am not that competitive really at all
It’s to show how it’s now unimaginably annoyed now. We refused to join it. We made it bleed. It knows we know how to hurt it. It also knows it must enact the final shape immediately as we will be coming for it in its monolith very soon. It’s done with the show of power now it just wants us dead
The thing i liked about this scene was that Cayde was happy when he was gone. He wasnt content he wasnt angry. He was happy. You dont see that these days. Usually when someone gets killed theyre bitter, vengeful. And when theyre brought back its like "time for round goddamn two!" But not cayde. I think his sacrifice in the end was already planned since his return. He just didn't exactly know how he was going to go out. For his friends he was willing to help out. But he knew he wasnt going to want to stay. Like he said. He was gone. And mourned. Its a bitter pill to swallow. Caydes death broke our hearts. We mourned. We advanced. And then he was back again. But we all know deep down that he wasnt going to stick around when this was all over.
You know? I think I know why they brought back up Zavala's wife. It's because that whole story was tied to a Seasonal story that you can't play anymore.
He'll probably just lose his light so he can live out his last life with Osirus, otherwise he has to watch him age and die. Killing ghosts is the new way the writers are leaning, probably to explain why some voice actors won't be coming back in D3.
@@joe2453tbf they are not that cool to begin with . Osiris has been getting his ass kicked or asking for help since we found him , and he is related to the worst dlcs/expansions of the franchise and Saint is cooler than Osiris but he hasn’t done anything cool since his introduction and has just been racist to fallen guy till he wasn’t and wars of Dawn man .
Bro all I wanted was for the light and dark saga to end. H light and dark saga was a net negative. The final shape was the best expansion and he was beaten in the hardest raid race . Now HOPEFULLY , bungie is free to write better stories . They squandered the first saga badly
I really thought Zavala would somehow lose his voice and Targe would translate through sign language and Tage was voiced by Keith David who after being murdered by the witness would pass on his voice to Zavala. Zavala might learn sign language from Targe when the traveler gave the ghosts knowledge and taught Zavala and Safiah because Hakim could have been deaf.
To be fair they did way more work on our characters' cut scenes than any other expansions, even our characters' facial expressions are drastically improved if you take the helmets off no joke!
For 4K cutscenes like this one, it makes sense why our guardian isn’t in it. If they had to account for the billions of cosmetic combinations, character models, weapons, and more just to make them load in the cutscene, this would’ve never been released.
"Losing Amanda was like losing you all over again" *Sniffs, wiping down Chaperone* Yup...she was our Sunrise...we miss her so much every day since we lost her...
ah so the thematics of The Witness are now laid bare, in his arena, there is a Hansa Hand, and his "final form" is very clearly a Hindu God in nature, Shiva I suppose, as they seek to destroy all reality and turn it into a still nothingness.
Micach-10 who te f it is... And here i was thinking we will see shin malphur.... But noo they totaly forgot about dude with golden gun, last time we seen any mention of him was in last word quest lol
Well they finished his story I thought. He was both a Dredgen (dreggen?/dregen?) and the man with the golden gun. His point, I recall vaguely from the Byf video I watched, was that we need to be able to balance both dark and light to be able to truly do whats right or something like that.
@@twiggydegree1419 within the context of the universe, the Traveller having memories of it's creations makes sense. Mans has no lungs and therefore cannot blow. He could've been playing anything.
@@PootisDaLoopis It's where we find Zavala in his old house talking to a statue of his deceased wife Safi. He talks about how The Witness offered him an eternity by her and their son's side but he chose not to accept The Witness's offer. I have that cutscene already on the channel. It should be the video uploaded directly before this one.
It should be right after you complete the final campaign mission. You'll load back to the starting area with a multitude of quests available to you. You'll need to complete a quest that involves Savathun (don't remember what it's called) then Cayde should have the quest available for pickup. Both the Savathun mission and Exotic quest are fairly straightforward.
So clearly Zavala is being swayed by the witness and having doubts over the traveler, maybe the witness is right and we should have taken his offer joining him first time round since he can provide our desires
