it was very schizo and i dont recommend it.

i didn't use the jades, but the red obsidians(full skate design), pro dots, corepads and tiger ice v2s on the superglide. IMO, get the pro dots. all the other skates though initially similar in speed or faster slowed down significantly and/or got scratchy once the rounded shape got more flattened out. regular pfte melts(i play only aim trainers currently) in one month to the said scratchiness and significantly slow down. the only skate that didn't change significantly over time(1 or 2 months of heavy use) were the pro dots. so coming back to your natural aiming ability and stopping power, i figure it will develop just fine with more consistent skate. and the pro dots are not as slow as you might think, compared to for example regular obsidians(which are IMO the only other skate I would consider using due ti wear resistance of hardened ptfe).

then use jades forsure. Iuse jades on my x2 mini and its just an unreasonably quick mousepad. but i would wait until later gens of the pad cause it seem like there is a huge debate on the speed of it between the reviewers.

@@stubbyfps it's because no english channel takes the friction coefficient of all the tested pads and go simply off of feel, which can be heavily influenced by how your hand sticks to the pad. hence some come up with fast but "controlled" and other weird concepts.

@@michaelschwarz5907 yeah I’m working on a platform that I can reference in my videos with this info. Along side being able to mention them in the video. Been a side project I’ve been working on since I want people to make proper buying decisions on pads (since some of these pads are mad expensive)

@@stubbyfps get a hold of 4etech who already tested a massive amount of pads and has it in an public excel sheet, so you don't have to start all over. i too would like to see this continued, because it helped me to make more informed buying decisions, rather that this and that is a bit slower than so and so, while having neither of the pads. but somewhere on the list i found one which i owned so i had a good reference point of how much faster or slower the tested pad was. aside from all of that, what i find a bit suspect was that the superglide pad disappeared in all of the reviews and comparisons to the skypad 4.0. especially sus because it was touted to be the 3.0 killer in a way.

@@Iphiclus regular obsidians are better, unless you want control on a glasspad(IMO it kinda defeats the purpose of glasspads). Based on how stubby glided the new Pro's it doesn't look like they improve too much from the v1.

if you get the 4.0, you are def at the end game of glass pads. The improvements over the 3.0 make it just a much better pad.

yes and no, the sens will feel low but there will be less stopping power. so its a pseudo fast but its still true to your sens

ngl, this is nothing like a cerapad. its 4k the speed and must quieter

i mained the 4.0 with no sleeve. having hyperhidrosis, i was very surprised that i was able too.

and for question 2. The pcb is screwed in at the top, I need to get some carbon fiber rods to secure the back half of the pcb and reinforce the sides.

its feels as smooth, if not, smoother than the empress. but double the dynamic.

@@jaymz8222 for me, it’s noticeably quicker. But a know a lot of people are maining the pad with obsidian pros with make it a much slower pad since obsidian pros are meant to be control skates.

@@stubbyfps Interesting. I could use really controleld skates. But I like having some extra stopping power and control on my glass pads. You should get the new blue empress and compare it. Good video idea for you, man. I think this is a bit of a miss. at least, for me. I love the texture on the 2.0, I was hoping this one would have been a mix between the two or atleast more control. Then again, there are other glass pads that offer that. Really looking at the blue empress and this, though.
