When I wach those westernees that came to Russia and talk about Russia being a normal place I realize that the western media, cultrue and education is a fu..ing shit. People are being brainwashed on daily basis and they are not open minded at all. They have very narrow vision about the world and other countries. Fu..k the west with its imperialistic menatility.

Странный способ учить язык (такой способ нужен если вы хотите стать поваром) в 60% случаев в жизни это вам не пригодиться. В русском языке много разных слов с одинаковым значением, поэтому такой способ (про суп) вам не подойдет. Вам надо выучить 500-1000 слов которые нужны в обиходе, а потом при общении словарный запас будет пополняться. Самое сложное научиться составлять предложения (так как правил для этого практически нет. В разных регионах России могут переставлять слова в предложениях, но смысл остается неизменным)

Can I make a recommendation of a RU-vid channel to follow. Russian with Nastya. I have followed many others over the years but have never found one that gets through to me in the way that this one does. Her speak Russian in 1 year series is very good. She posts a twenty minute lesson every day throughout the year. Everything she teaches in the past lessons are reintroduced repeatedly so don’t try to memorise anything from any single lesson.
Может быть это плохая идея, может быть - хорошая: я бы старался сначала изучить все простые фразы, которые могут пригодиться в повседневном взаимодействии с людими. Что-то вроде "подскажите, пожалуйста, как пройти на улицу Льва Толстого?", "Сколько это стоит?", "Который час?/сколько времени?/у вас есть часы?/время не подскажите?", ну и всё в таком духе. То есть, запомнить максимум фраз для повседневного взаимодействия в разных сферах бытия, так скажем. А затем уже наращивать словарный запас вокруг данных базовых концептов, изучать правописание, правильные ударения, запоминать в каких случаях используется то или иное слово и так далее. Очень хорошая идея - слушать как можно больше русской речи с субтитрами на английском. Смотреть фильмы, ютьюб, сериалы - самое главное при этом выбирать то, что инетресно, а не то, что обязательно нужно посмотреть или послушать по мнению других людей. Я изучал английский в школе, затем в универсистете, но только когда начал активно смотреть и слушать, и периодически общаться в Интернете с англоговорящими людьми - мое знание английского заметно улучшилось. Сегодня мне в большинстве случаев не нужны субтитры при просмотре фильмов. Но если техническая литература или узкоспециализированная информация - тогда да, тогда без словаря или переводчика становится сложновато.

Great progress in pronunciation! Does the teacher sort the words into their component parts? It helps for proper breathing, pronunciation and stress in the word. Я го-тов-лю русс-кий зав-трак. Speak clearly and harshly. 👍
Есть русская поговорка "Тише едешь - дальше будешь". Она как раз для тебя. Не торопись изучать новое, повторяй старое, но не стой на месте. Потихоньку ты научишься свободно говорить по русски
Sorry it's taken a few days. But I'm off work now. OK. So you will need 1 large white onion 3 cloves of garlic 3 large sweet potatoes Veg/Olive oil 1 250 ml tin of coconut milk Salt and pepper to taste Peel and roughly cut the onion and garlic and sweat down in a medium saucepan. Do not colour. Then peel and cut the sweet potatoes into cm dices. Chuck in the pan and cook with the onions and garlic. Obviously you will need a splash of oil to start this. Keep moving and let the veg colour slightly. Then, cover with water and the tin of coconut milk. Let it simmer until potatoes are soft. Blitz and add salt and pepper to taste. В разговорной речи вместо "после этого" (after that) лучше сразу употреблять "потом" или "затем". Так и проще, и короче... "после этого" , конечно же, теоретически тоже правильно и понятно, но мы так не говорим.

So once you come out of the border. There are lux express coaches parked at the cafe down the end of the road on the corner. It's like a 1 minute walk. But you will have to book your ticket online to go from Tallinn to Saint Petersburg. I will say this. The line into the border is long, and it takes hours to get through to passport control. And then you will most likely be pulled aside for questioning. Don't worry, this is normal. But this can also take hours. I would recommend it when you get on the bus at Tallinn and even when you get off the bus at Narva. Just ask the driver. I don't use the bus in Ivangorod. But I'm sure that there are several coaches that wait on the other side, as they know the line in can take several hours. I hope this answer helps

Congratulations to you both on your engagement🎉 and I like you keen on learning Russian. I don't agree on pavement bit as I'm originally from St.pete and there are pavements everywhere. I must admit I've never been to Shushary as it was big field back in days and it's quite a few new buildings there. Maybe that's the reason don't know.. My apartment is on Vasilevsky Island and there are pavements there for sure. I've been living in the UK for 8 years and still missing my St.Pete not sure if I/we can ever come back there.

Yes, crazy drivers are the big issue here. Definitely, there's a space for improvement. The government introduces road regulation updates for it, but too slow. Sometimes, instead, makes live for drivers who violate the road regulation easier (practically no road police on the roads in Moscow, whilst cameras cannot fix everything, cancelation of regular technical check for the most of the cars, and, e.g. as a result, much more cars with stop lights that don't work are on the road now)... Have to be fixed

You are definitely making progress in your Russian! Yes, these videos are interesting. I’d like to see more. Btw, we have a serial called “Кухня” (drama + comedy). It is about cooks in a Moscow restaurant. The main characters make friends, fall in love etc. And sometimes they cook. Perhaps it’ll be interesting for you to learn what the kitchen in a Russian restaurant looks like + you’ll be able to improve your Russian.

Добрый день! То, что Вы рассказываете очень интересно, но неправильно. Вы пытаетесь запомнить смысл и звучание слов. Так делать не обязательно. Человеческий мозг - самая сильная компьютерная машина. Ему нужна большая масса информации. И мозг сам переработает и запомнит все слова чужого языка - для вас это пока Русский язык. Самый лучший способ выучить язык - это читать ВСЛУХ любые тексты. И СЛУШАЙТЕ тоже любые тексты. Начните читать вслух детские книги. Стихи, песни, рассказы, книги, журналы, газеты, Конституцию, Правила Дорожного Движения, Библию, вывески, сказки детские. Смотрите мультфильмы, кино, интернет на русском языке, Ютьюб и прочие источники информации. УДАЧИ!!!
Документальный фильм- это очень сильная вещь! Смотришь на эти кадры и понимаешь, что никого из этих людей уже нет. И это не художественное кино, а реальная жизнь. Если я правильно понимаю, то это высадка десанта Нормандии Неман. Я раз десять ходил по Британскому музею целый день. И ещё готов ходить любое количество времени… Буквально, залипаешь в таких местах во времени, рассматривая артефакты истории… Музей естествознания, тоже очень понравился мне… Бесплатный вход в музеи- это прекрасно! Музей Виктории и Альберта, тоже очень понравился. Всё, что связано с историей, не может оставить равнодушным любого разумного человека, поскольку, кто не знает своего прошлого, тот не имеет будущего…
