Ever Crisis has been teasing they will be crossing over with another FF game so this makes me think they could do a cross-over with ff16. I do find it funny how they put Vincent and Clive together as they are very similar characters. The date conversation gave me second hand embarrassment but in a good way. It was so funny.
Well remake runs at 120fps constant a 2k witch is the frame cap i mean i guess i have a decent pc but nothing crazy like a rx6800xt a 7600x plays like a dream. Seems like a pretty good port to me
WHY THE FCK there is no single cc upload a video telling how to unlock this quest specifically, i have completed everything in my first playthrough and this sht isnt available for me?
Normally games are announced by trailer that is still in development ro build up hype. We would have heard if ff9 remake was a thing a while ago, if it was a thing. I'm not holding my breath on a stealth drop.
@@terrycullen3302 It is ugly. I see that kind of graphic style design in most modern phone games. Stale, When ff9 was released it was very unique top psx in terms of graphics. Fan art , sure 6 out of 10... But to say ff9 remake ( if there is one ) will just be like it.. i smell death of a good game...
The producer of FF16 has expressed interest in bringing FF16 to the Xbox and with Square seeming wanting to play catchup with Xbox players it’s highly likely that we could see an Xbox port of FF16 get announced tomorrow along with the official announcement of the Pixel Remasters.
Gonna say no due to the contract with Sony legally stops 16 and 7 remake from going to Xbox and 2 square wants to make money they know they won’t make any from Xbox ports so gonna say no because it’s stupid to release on a platform that is a waste of time
An Xbox port of FF16 is rumored to be in development and the producer of that game has expressed interest in bringing the game to the console so it’s possible we’ll see it come to Xbox and Sony has no say on whether Square Enix ports it to the Xbox as Square ended their Sony contract as it wasn’t profitable for them.
Retirement age in Japan is 60 years old but that's mostly for government jobs square as a company has there own policy that man was eligible for retirement like 10 years ago now hes a creative hes never really leaving he will retire collect his check and most likely remain a consultant
A lot of neat reveals for sure, Soul Reaver and Lunar remastered collection, Hironobu Sagaguchi’s newest Square game which we haven’t seen him do in a long time, and PS Classic update with Dino Crisis and Blood Omen being included , surprisingly a lot of stuff
At this point, I'm going to have a hard time writing anything Sony does good unless it involves an announcement set the ps6 will have physical games. That stuff they pulled with the PS5 pro just ain't going to go away for me.
david you feeling like a brother from another mother right now. i to never finish horizon and soul reaver was my shhhh.... in fact ff16 reminded me of soul reaver so much even though i didnt play it . getting betrayed by your parent then going around sucking the souls of your kind and gaining there abilities.
I've only pre-ordered 3 games in the past several years: BG3, Rebirth, and now Legacy of Kain Remaster! It's been a looooong time coming. I 'm hoping against hope that it sells well and puts some momentum into a Soul Reaver 3!
Only thing i didnt like is why does sony keep remastering ps4 games? Why cant we get ps3 games remastered itd atleast help with the ps3 backwards compatibility issues
Im not asking much, i just want this game to look as good as FF7R or FF16. Im totally fine if the game is on the smaller scale compared to FF7R. And i wish the combat is similar to FF7R, not turnbased 😢
And it would be weird if the game is turnbased, since Yoshinori Kitasi said FF is about pushing the limit and technology, modern FF will never go back to turnbased, since that system was created due to hardware limitation.
Heya Dave! I was excited about Lunar, but I do have both 1 and 2 and I also have the port for PSP the Lunar which is to me the best version of Lunar. In some ways for Lunar I see Zack as Alex the Dragon Master and Aerith as Luna the Songstress. Those were great games back in the day. Another game I noticed which was DLC was for TMNT, they made Mondo Gecko and Mona Lisa playable which looked sick as all! I have Shredder's Revenge. Now that makes 11 playable characters!! I wonder if they will have new levels?? I knew not to expect much in the way from SE, if we did get a DLC for Rebirth like you say it wouldn't be until after a year. This is my theory if there is any DLC, and that theory is that.... it's for the most part already done. Think about it, Zack really had almost no playable Episodes except at the very beginning which was limited and at the end with Cloud and fighting a final boss. What if they did some playable chapters but realized the game was getting too big so they had to scale it back to get it to fit within 200 GBs. Also, there could be a later DLC that's smaller that may focus on a couple of smaller playable sections with Vincent in the Temple, and perhaps a small segment with Cid. But in the meantime we have Ever Crisis, and our guild is now level 43!! Not sure what else we will be able to power up with guilds. They have been very generous with currency and I have gotten all 3 of the event outfits so far and will have enough for Tifa's tomorrow despite only OB Weapon 2 for each lol. The event story was mildly interesting so far, not sure how it will end so I will reserve the rest of my judgement. I just wished there was a little more to do with the event story.
I think we're due a new FF announcement soon. If not in the State of Play, maybe at TGS. They've probably held off because there were already several FF games in the pipeline recently. XVI, VII Rebirth and XIV Dawntrail. They probably didn't want to take focus away from them by announcing more FF related stuff. But they're all out now, and there aren't any other FF games officially announced. So it's about time they start building up the hype for the next FF game (probably IX Remake, maybe the Tactics remaster too).
At this point. They could do a ff7 style remaster of ff6. Plenty of room to add more story. Make it rated M like ff16 which gives it room to make the story as dark as needed.
Pretty much everything you said in this video, my thoughts are the same I’ll keep being a believer regardless, but Holy crap Square, reveal it soon eventually, cause FF9 Remake is undoubtedly your worst kept secret. Even KH and DQ managed to reveal their new big games to combat those leaks, even if they were revealed too early in hindsight
Would love a Zack DLC but I'd be extremely shocked if it happens. It really seems they want part 3 out by the end of 2027 and there's gonna be a 30th anniversary logo
@@jesse1381 what if they already did a Zack section and a Vincent adventure in the temple of the ancient but cut it out because Vincent isn't playable until part 3 and having all extra Zack chapters would have made the game bigger than 200 GB?
