I am a Moto Vlogger from Sharon Pa . I ride a 2009 KLR650 . I mainly use the GoPro Hero 4 . My handle bar camera is a Gopro hero 2 that I use to use on my helmet . I ended up using it as the bar camera . I use a Lapel Microphone in my helmet for my riding videos . My weekly shows called The ITL . I use a couple of cheap wireless microphones with my Hero 4 . I also use a 4 channel mixer to mix the microphones I have and to make the one channel microphones into both channels . If you would like to support me and my channel you can use my Patreon page . I will be using the funds from it to do upkeep on my KLR650 and keep up my video and audio hardware . If you would like to support the channel with buying me a coffee . www.buymeacoffee.com/Muzzlemike A little this and A little of that . Come see me on FaceBook .facebook.com/MuzzleMike Look me up on Twitter . twitter.com/REV. MuzzleMike I am on Instagram also !
Hello Mike! I think it was, or maybe still is required for a motorcycle to have the headlight on at all times in certain states. For aesthetic lighting, there is not use having them on during the day, for sure. That is fun little project. I hope you can make it water/weather proof. Thanks for sharing. God Bless!
What I meant to say was the secondary lighting. That is why I was talking about the the button lights on the trunk . I could put the fog lights on it also . It is not a hard project. I want to make it nice . I could use a pill bottle with grommets . If I put it under the front faring . It will not be seen . You are rite about the head lights . I will leave the stock lights alone. Thank you .
Thank you Mike! I am always looking forward to your time on RU-vid. God willing, you will get your health and motivation soon enough! God bless you and your family.
That was a nice ride Mike. I have a number of Raspberry Pis and Arduinos that are just collecting dust now. The projects were fun, but they are mostly useless for me now. I hope you find some projects to keep you interested! God bless.
My PI 4B has been running the radio station for 3 or 4 years . The Pico W got me into trying other things . They are cool cheap things to play with . Thank you Capt Craig ! Stay well and I hope you are having fun hamming it up ! God Bless .
Nice cool morning ride! I think I need to check the brakes on my bike as well. It think it has a leak. I have some new tubes and a new battery I need to put on there as well, so I can get it all done at once. Have a blessed day!
I have gone through mine . I changed both front and rear reservoirs . I think I might not have gotten all the air out of the rear . I will check it . The Goat is a good riding bike . Not fast but good for a ride . I use a airhawk for long distance. God Bless you Capt . .
I have not looked at the new KLRs but they do look to have good specs. Unless you really need the new stuff you can get a low mileage gen. 2 at a good cost . Almost the same bike and then you can put fit . The bike with the leftover cash . Maybe even have some to take out for a weekend ride . That is just me . I like the Goat . She is my old girl and will be until I am gone. Thank you !
Lol I would like to get my hands on a couple of gen 1 . The lowered model that was made for a year or 2 and the normal gen 1 . The wife would like to ride with me and it would be nice . I know the klr so well . Why not save what I can ? They are cheap also . For the most part. Then have them look closely like the Goat . That would be cool .
You could . It is not needed unless yours is loose. I added a small amount of rubber glue around the edge to help keep water out . It worked for years until I removed it and went with bar end mirrors . Thank you !
The DigiPi looks pretty cool. I have worked with the ZeroPi before a few years ago. I made a gaming emulator with it. Now, I have to look into the DigiPi! Thanks for that. I hope you have a great week. God Bless!
Thank you my Friend. I came across this when I was messing with Pico . This looks to be something worth getting into. I wish the Raspberry stuff was easier to get and less on the price side of things. I have the 4 B and love it . May God Bless You and Yours .
Maybe it is . Even if it is not it is all good in the neighborhood ! Thank you about the Goat . She has been a lot of work but well deserved. I love that 650 thumper. Thank you Matt ! God Bless you and yours!
It is not unusual to get some snow after thinking the nice weather is on the way...LOL. I hope it melts fast and riding weather comes back soon! The colors you used work well on a Kawasaki. Have a great week! God bless.
I quit watching tv all together 5 years ago and havent looked back. I will watch youtube and Pureflix. Mama told me when tv came out the older folks said way back then that tv would be the moral break down of this world, looks like they were right.
Big company pay big money to run those ads but seems like the station's would pay attention to when they play them. Goat's purring right along! Be safe out there Mike.
I don't deserve any thanks, but I am glad my Technician test helped you consider moving forward with your Ham Radio General class. I have antenna issues. I am hoping to have it resolved next weekend. I have a J-Pole antenna that I need to build a base for. I also own a BaoFeng UV-5R with an original Nagoya NA-771 antenna. The HT itself is one of the original ones with no big batteries or bells and whistles. For fun and easy setup, I also have a smaller RTL-SDR setup with a V antenna that came with it. I have a Retevis RT95 which is nice for the truck, but I have to figure out what I am going to do about an antenna. My truck is aluminum, so the old magnetic antennas won't stick. I need to study for my General license. I haven't even started that yet and it is almost the end of the month. Things happen. But, all is good. 73 and God Bless!
I have put together a to go pack . That has my uv5r and the things for it if anything might happen. I try to think about power loss and helping others in a emergency with it . It more then likely will. Not get used but if it is needed . I do have it . It was cheap to put together. It. Also has a roll up J-pole antenna. The bag was passed to me by another ham RonC on. RU-vid . I use a lot of dipoles here . They are quick and easy to make with speaker wire . The antenna app for Android is my go to . It cuts out lots of time .
GMRS is getting more popular in many areas. No test just pay $35 and get your license. 22 channels, repeaters in some areas and not much different than the 70cm Amateur band.
I was thinking about looking into that and bringing it up on an ITL . I still can . It is not popular here yet but I think it is coming. Thank you Mayor!
