I never used the radio in my old jeep after someone on the trail said my radio sounded like "crap" so I know what you was saying about dirty radio. I need to go get more gas also, used the last of mine in the generator. Have a great week Mike!

I suspect that was bad antenna tuning . That would make a great radio sound bad. You have a blessed week and like the monkey. Hang in there Matt !

The best bang for your buck still is the uv5r for around $20 when you can find them. I love this radio but it is stiff paying over $40 for a Feng . Both of my last radios have been ti-band radios May God Bless You and Yours.

@@MuzzleMike The new Fengs are $28 on TEMU. As a matter of fact, there is a ton of cheap stuff on TEMU. If you can wait 10 days to get your stuff, it is worth it,. Also, I pay through PayPal. I don't give them my banking information.

How'd you test it for spurious emissions? Looks like a decent HT! Def a good value for the $!

Hi Ron ! I use a TinySA . It is not mine but I wish it was . A club member was nice enough to let me use his . I was told I could use my NanoVNA I do not know the set up yet . I should look at it some day . That little thing and my big fingers has a hard time working together. Lol I did not trust my testing and had the owner of the tinyvna retest for me . He got the same results. Thank you Ron ! I set it up with that J-pole antenna you sent me and it is a little power house on a hill . I love it !
