I take it that it can be programed with Chirp like most of their other radios. I have a few that I use mostly for the fm radio function. Have they cleaned up their harmonic problem with this radio?

Great question! I was going to cover it later on in another video. Chirp does not like this at this time . The seller offered to sell me a program cord for around $50 and the programming is free for it . I told them to forget it . I will manually program it . Then I took it to a friend's house that has a mini tester to see if if transmits clean . This one has. Clean harmonics but I have seen others that were not clean on RU-vid . So it can be where you get it from . Thank you ! Very good questions !

I still have to get my endfed 10-80 and my dual hand antennas up at the new house. 2 story house with 10 foot ceilings and a 10 foot attic means I need to rent a bucket truck to get to the peak to run the coax and make the attachments. Going to run the endfed from the peak of the house to a mast on the shed. 135 foot antenna and the peak to the mast is 132 feet so it is a perfect match to put up and leave just enough slack to account for wind and weather.

I am happy I have kept mine on the back roof or in the attic. So they can not be seen . I do loose some but my property size doesn't let me spread out like I would like to . Thank you and take your time be safe doing it .
