Just watched some clips - the highlight of the evening for me was the unhinged claim of "immigrants are eating cats and dogs in Ohio" As a non-US resident it really baffles me that he is on the ticket and about 80 million people will still vote for him.
It is madness in the US of late it seems - November can't come quickly enough - had to put all sorts of filters and blocks in my news feeds. I hope the losers accepts the outcome of the vote and there is not a repeat of the drama of 2020 and eventually Jan 6. We had our national elections recently and it was robust as usual - everybody eventually accepted the outcome - a coalition govt was sworn in thanks to some horse trading - heck we even got a minister whose party manifesto at one point advocated for a whites only region - go figure that in a country where the population is mostly black.
Yeah I'm gonna try to come back when the toxicity goes down a bit or just learn to deal with it to make my content better. Right now everything seems to be happening and I just have to shutdown for a while and reflect. Also got to keep myself from doing something terrible to myself. Some people are just bad no matter their religion , race or sexual orientation Hoe many pastors have been outed as pdf files of late I wont tell people who they can sleep with or who they want to love as long they dont harm others. I lived iunder laws who defined who you can marry or have sex with … that is horrid no matter your religious views which should not be the law of the land
Horrible thing that happen. I was independent for 19 years then had to pick republican or democrat to vote in the primary elections for Maryland I will for ever be middle of the road and will most likely never vote for a democrat. I dont see how this even happen. we will never know the full details just like we still dont know 100% about JFK
