Thank you John for your willingness to be so vulnerable. I know just a little of yours and Nancy’s story but our Father is using it to bring healing and hope to many…. It’s in our suffering, I’m sure you know, that our Lord is so near and never leaves us. Thank you for always reminding us of His faithfulness…. We pray for your family 😊
Perhaps Jesus told us to come to God as a little child because that child is the image of the God who delights in the monotony of running the Creation.
I like Lovecraft’s weird tales and I like Chesterton, especially the Father Brown mysteries. I do live in joy, wonder, and awe. I love nature and I love my family, friends, strangers, and my job. I am an accountant with 2 earned graduate degrees in my 50s, I love my sons, daughter in law, grandchildren, hiking, being an organist, music teacher, sketching, nature.., every day is a beautiful blessing. Thank you for a beautiful video! You are a blessing. Deo gratias.
When I listen to you and I’m instructed in the ways of the LORD, I find I increase with joy, wonder, curiosity and praise. Thank you for leading the way on your good days and hard times. We bless the LORD and GIVE thanks to you. Thank you gentlemen.
When Jesus walked on the Earth he was the same size as us, much smaller than the universe he created. Was he any less significant when he was our size? I’m reminding myself that God is not impressed by an athlete’s’ physique. Rather, he is impressed by the quality of his/her character within.
"I lift up my eyes to the mountains where does my help come from? Psalms 121:1 "I life up my eyes to you, who sit enthroned in heaven" Psalms 123:1 We are blessed you are with us. Bucky
As a young engineer at Bell Labs, I attended a talk Carl Sagan gave at lunch time. I remember the awe and smallness I felt when he said,” billions, and billions and billions..” Yet I felt significant that a young engineer could attend the talk of the great astronomer. Now back to “exulting in the monotony “ of my Baylands walk!
Thank you for sharing a part of your story - may you be blessed in your Bayland's walk - and see, hear and feel details that previously may have been overlooked. Thank you for being with us. Bucky
My grandson is autistic and nonverbal. I marvel at him. Although he doesn't speak, his little eyes and his mind are constantly seeing details. And he wants to be out in God's creation all the time. He'd live outside if we let him. He's my view of the Father.🙏🏻🕊🩵
So beautifully shared with us - your grandson sees details we may often overlook. He is special and loves communing with God in his unending creation. We are grateful for you Be Blessed
Thankful for this day! Thankful everyday for God's gift of life! Today - beautiful Deer and Baby crossed my path! Thank you John and team at Become New...I look forward to your messages each day! God Bless you!❤
Praise God 🎉 This morning before I watched this, the Lord set a full rainbow in the sky for me, and then a double half bow 🌈 total delight and wonder!!! Love this fellowship :) Love ya John!
Our stories disclose..... ... as my friend and sister Stephanie put it, "the best gifts I have ever received ALL came wrapped in black paper." I was taught to cling to the idea that, and God's hands, my dark past becomes my greatest asset .. With it, death and misery can be averted for OTHERS! 🎉🎁🎁🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thank you, John O.
I have just said to the L-RD what a dark life I would have lead without HIM, a life I lived before accepting CHRIST JESUS, darkness. Now even in the difficult times, that darkness can never engulf me again because of HIS LIGHT and the HIS angels that encamp around me. Thank you for your daily encouraging shepherding. GLORY TO OUR TRIUNE G-D.
My life was interrupted by my father's dementia. To a great extent, I was happy to leave a job I'd hated, but it required living 6 months of every year in an old motorhome (35*10) with him and a Shiba Inu, in a place that is too hot, too flat, too sandy, too muggy, too buggy, and has critters that'll eat my dog, without an income. It is the reason that when he told me to buy a truck to get things back and forth (the motorhome was not road-ready), I named the truck Abram. Dad died in 2019, and I bought a trailer in the same park, where I've continued to spend the winters. But since last spring, I've been struggling with the decision between continuing that part of my story or being interrupted again and remaining up north.
Thank you for sharing a very tender part of your story - may you continue to be with us at Become New. May you prayerfully lift up your crossroad decision to God seeing clarity and peace. Be Well Bucky
So glad you are able to carve out time alone to be with God. May you be still and in the quiet feel God's presence and listen to his whispers Be Blessed Bucky
